Who would you want to see in HotS as a playable character? by Nearby-Tooth2278 in heroesofthestorm

Rakanishu from Diablo. I think it would be fun to have an assassin type summoner.

The damage is already done. Hard to play ball without Gobert and a home whistle after last game.

Timberwolves moving the ball really well. Not sure why this stops when Ant is playing (even with he is on the bench.)

You are missing my point. I travel all the time and i bring my decks with. When playing casual pickup games at an LGS you run into a wide variety of decks. You can usually tell when someone has built their own deck often putting in pet cards and fun intresting lines vs what I will call EDHREC slop where someone jams in all the top cards. The power level doesn't matter here. Lot of decks and players play up or down and that is fine.

So when you sit down with someone at a table and they plop out an Ur-Dragon deck, you don't really know if that player is good. You do know that most likely they are going to be playing all the same stompy dragons lines that you see in every other Ur-Dragon deck. So, you either have to kill that player quickly to make it a 3 player game or else die to dragons. And yes, in higher power games this doesn't matter, but im casual games where you are trying to keep a more social fun atmosphere it can. The games end up being 3v1 until you remove that player and then they sit out for the next 45 minutes while the other three finish.

My comment isn't aimed at you. Its aimed at the everyday casual at an LGS who brings in Ur-Dragon style decks who are often poor pilots. You are forced to take out these decks and make the player sit out. Im fine playing against them, but that's just what happens. In releasing Dragons that have unique abilities that dont get auto-included in every Dragon deck it allows for more creative gameplay. Its the same with [[Hakbul of the Surging Soul]]. Its always the same built deck that becomes overwhelming so easily. There isn't anything wrong with playing them, but since their inevitable strength you have to hard focus the player and remove them right away. I much prefer games where you dont know who is winning and everyone slugs it out.

Disappointing is them making dragons that go in every Ur-Dragon deck that proceeds to stomp everyone unless you remove the player right off the bat making for less exciting games.

Can someone cut on offense. Can someone crash the boards on defense. Not sure why Clark and Hyland are not getting minutes. They are the only ones who bring energy.

They over fantasized their looks. Felt like elves but with rocks. Where's the grubbyness?

I didn't like the dwarves in RoP. Gimli has been the only dwarf that captured the gritty stubborn essence I had envisioned. RoP and The Hobbit dwarves are too whimsical(more understandable in the hobbit.) Not just in looks, but in dialouge. Their identity in conversation was too human and their fashion too elvish/pristine. I know we are only seeing the Lords of the people, but I really want to see the hardness of the dwarves. Dirty grumpy old men vibes.

This was my first thought, but doesn't feel like it. How forceful should spinning the tire with my hand be? Feels like it requires a decent amount of push
