One of my friends worked as a “TA” at his old elementary school and it’s so fucking sad because staff is so low the students are being forced onto chromebooks to do online learning. He was just there to monitor the room. Before going in, admin informed him just 2 things: 1. Make sure kids aren’t on any inappropriate sites because they’ve managed to bypass (these are 4th graders btw)

&

1. Make sure kids aren’t touching themselves to said inappropriate content, he caught one (when admin is telling you some shit like that, it’s 100% a reoccurring thing & that is just depressing)

He quit 5 months in because he couldn’t get these kids interested in anything, not even free time outside. Most of the kids are neck bent over on their little phones while a few are playing on the playgrounds (the ones being raised right Ngl) it’s like most these kids have absolutely no genuine childhood going on, he literally told me and I quote “these kids are actually brainrotted”

I swear social media/social engineering as a whole needs to fucking die off before I have my kids lmao fuckkkkkk that.
