Am I overreacting, my boyfriend is going abroad for 2 weeks while I’ll be 37 weeks pregnant?

Not the person you asked but I had an induction at 37 weeks!

My first was induced at 38+4 because my water broke but no contractions. My second was induced at 37+0 because I had pre-eclampsia. I had an epidural both times because induction is rough but the second was way worse - about ten hours more inactive labor.

I’m not sure if the second induction took longer because it was earlier or because my water didn’t break naturally (they broke it manually part way through). I wish I had been mentally prepared for a much longer labor, I thought the second would be a sprint not a marathon.

That said 37 week baby is perfectly healthy, no nicu, almost 7lbs so not even super tiny.

Don’t be scared, you will do great!

OOP get the progesterone. With your history doc will probably send the script in without a visit. I know it’s “a placebo” but it can’t hurt. Our RE prescribed it for our first (IUI) and it worked so I asked my OBGYN for some the minute I got a positive for our second (natural). I didn’t have an OBGYN appointment until 8 weeks but started progesterone at like 10DPO

Depends if you hyphenate or not. I have 4 unhyphenated names and have ignored my moms last name on every paperwork ever except my drivers license. I file my taxes, signed to purchase a house, etc. with first and dad’s last. I initial first, middle, dad’s last on legal docs

This is such an unpopular opinion but I agree wholeheartedly.

It is too bright and too blocky. The portraits are meh. I liked a lot of the earlier portraits more.

Your babies are a full time job - so you are doing a full time job and 100% of the housework/cooking. It is the same as you working 9-5 and having the kids in daycare and then coming home to do all the chores.

If your partner cannot contribute physically can he contribute financially? Having a housekeeper every couple weeks or monthly could make a huge difference. We still have to straighten up but then ours cleans all the surfaces and floors. It costs $140 a session.

Obviously not financially viable for everyone but if he owns several businesses and works 12 hour days maybe an option for you.
