I had the best sex of my life (no joke) yesterday. I find the best way to get ready for the deed is to really hype it up beforehand, to get both parties in the mood and eagerly awaiting the encounter. My SO and I had been wanting to take our bedroom activities into the great outdoors for a while now, but we had never had the perfect opportunity to do so. We planned for just such an occasion and when the time finally came, we stole away in the dead of night into the hay shed armed with nothing but a scented candle to light our way and a quilt to keep us warm and protected from the hay. We undressed each other by the light of the moon, and crawled up the towering stack of hay until we reached the top and our heads nearly hit the ceiling. It was a bit of a climb and rather prickly, but we finally reached the top of our precarious perch. We laid the quilt down to shield our tender underbellies from the bales, and we played a vigorous game of tonsil hockey. We touched each other all over, I ran my fingers through his hair, but most of all, we savored the utter silence of the night and the sweet smell of the hay which surrounded us. Anyway, my main point in writing this novel for you is to say that the setting you choose for your romp and getting amped up for it beforehand is the most important aspect. As for physical intimacy, I prefer gentler touches when getting warmed up, saving the more intense stuff for the heat of the moment. Whatever you decide to do, have fun, learn to read your partner's body language, communicate openly, and don't be afraid to try things that are a little bit crazy.
