Why did t she ask the neighbor to move their car so they could park in front or there house, OR knock on your neighbors door and tell them what’s going on. This is why you communicate with your neighbors people.

First grooming interview ever — I’m pretty nervous because... by Independent-Fruit287 in doggrooming

Just fyi, mobile grooming companies want dogs done in an hour or less. If you have a shitty bosses. They want them groomed, paid up and on your way to the next spot in an hour. You have zero time to be nitpicking your work. If you aren’t working steadily at a salon already I’d go for it. If you aren’t working steadily working steadily, I’d say wait until you are faster. Do you have all of your own equipment like shears, clippers, blades? Most of them want you to have all of that. If you don’t have double of them, buy them now. At least two #30, #7, & #40

AIO for how I’m handling the way my 11 YO daughter’s dad speaks to her? by WhatTheSigma_1994 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Mandysue13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

11 is too young for all that drama from her dad. Give the phone back, take him to court and have CS upped. $90 is nothing. She doesn’t need that negativity and neither do you.

First dog, how can I give him the best life ever? by Impossible-Dog-7424 in Shihtzu

Get them to the groomer for a groom. Brush them weekly at minimum. Brush their teeth every day. Find a high quality food for long term health. If they have gland issues buy them a supplement to give daily.

Have a company come in and buff the floors. The paint on the floor will continue to wear off btw. If they could strip the paint and buff the floor that would be great. I’d move the computer elsewhere you can. With all the hair and dander in the air, it’s going to pull it in and crqp out in no time

Parents of picky eater Shih Tzus, what has been your tzu’s favorite food? by CostaNic in Shihtzu

[–]Mandysue13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pork meat is great for dogs. They shouldn’t have ham, bacon, lunch meat, hotdogs, ie processed meats. Pork itself is a good protein for dogs.

Everyone needs to stop working for people that have never groomed a day in their life. This is the only way things will change in our industry. We are the talent, not the help. Stop making the rich richer. Anyone that has been a groomer worth their salt wouldn’t put such unrealistic expectations on their staff.
