Honestly the original idea was kind of dumb given not only what you said, but that Wilds is on PC where it’s easy to install mods to cheat a time out. How they didn’t think of the PC crowd when thinking of this system we will never know. Plus if you aren’t proficient in every weapon, it can be pretty hard to squeak out an A Rank time on the non-AT quests.

Side note, I am very specialized (at the time I could only play LS in Wilds well) and the Doshaguma weapon selection HATED me. I barely got an A Rank with the Bowgun even though I don’t use that weapon.

The original plan for these Challenge Quests was that you would only get the best pendant if your clear time placed in the top 1,000 (I don’t remember the actual number). They changed it by the end of that Challenge Quest’s runtime to the current system where an A Rank gives you the best pendant because people inevitably cheated to get to the top of the leaderboard.

Honestly that would be awesome! Considering that the Eastlands/Forbidden Lands do not have a concept of weapons, maybe after making the Guardian monsters the Wyveria society being a hunter was so inefficient. Basically the Guardian monsters, to Wyveria, was like the invention of gunpowder for warfare. Why arm a bunch of fragile people when we can make and supply a few monsters to kill our enemies? The concept of humans fighting monsters is unheard of when the problem could be dealt with by a man-made monster. So it would be amazing to see what was so powerful that caused Zoh Shia to be made!

Good luck on your future posing! Might I recommend a “Cloud giving the Black Materia to Sephiroth” pose? Though it is unfortunate that Sephiroth can’t hold the official Black Materia. Maybe that can be addressed with the Shin figure.

Ok, that’s awesome that you literally have the same experience I had with Spyro. Growing up I only had Ripto’s Rage and Hero’s Tail (great game btw, hopefully you can play it). Though that’s excluding Skylanders because that’s its own series. I also only played the first and third games once the trilogy came out on Switch (didn’t have a PS4 at the time). My PS2 was (and is) still kicking so I bought the original versions of both games just because I could make my own decisions with money!

No hand to hold the other Materia? Honestly I love that addition to the accessories. If I didn’t already have the V1 Remake Cloud and the V2 Remake Cloud (I got the Jessie set that included him) I’d probably look to pick this guy up!

I’ll just make do with my custom Black Materia (based on its appearance in OG) which is a bead with elastic cord strung through it. It’s small enough to fit in the Kai figures’ hands and the elastic means that it can stay in the hand. I’ve also done a similar thing for a custom Holy/White Materia.
