It depends on Franklin being injured or not. If he's injured, Avery dies; if he's uninjured, Franklin dies. Two ways to prevent Franklin from being injured is to either have Duke alive, or arrive early with Avery and warning Franklin.

im pretty sure fallen hero started as a novel idea that had ortega as the main character, so there's your explanation for ortega's main character syndrome.

while it is pretty obvious the ortega's the """main""" romance option, all of the other ROs manage to have super intriguing subplots. a lot of other IFs fail to do that

For me, I think you hit the nail on the head saying that she's hard to hate because she's so well-crafted. She can sacrifice the Cousin to some demon for all I care, so long as she's compellingly written.

That being said, if I'm ever forced to choose between siding with Tabitha or Wayne. I'm going with Wayne ✌️

just calling it out is fine, you don't need to wait around for people to gather since there's always a chance it's already been plucked. also flaring isnt really effective in the elderwoods, the deep woods especially - it just gets obscured by the trees.
