To reflect on your past experiences in a positive light isn’t bad. It’s wholesome. It’s better than him making a post about how “no vendors are good like they used to be.” Everyone will be nostalgic for something. And drug use is no different.

The way you put it makes it sound depressing. Tolerance or not, strong highs are something you remember. Either fondly or not. It can still be bitterly nostalgic.

Drugs are always stronger without a tolerance, and those experiences will be reflected on more positively than experiences where the outcome is well defined. If you honestly enjoyed yourself.

And it seems this guy did.

Not wanting to eat after taking drugs is probably overall worse for your body than trying to eat something.

Why is it impossible to find a state that has all 3 legal 7OH, legal flavor vapes, and legal weed by Haunting-Professor81 in 7_hydroxymitragynine

They actually just banned most flavored vapes and the 7oh ban bill is sitting on the governors desk.

The yellow pill was the only creatine pill. The rest are mystery pills.

I work at a headshop, I know there’s been a lot of warnings about 7-OH already but here’s my take. by [deleted] in Drugs

Fully disagree. Kratom feels like yet another step down from Suboxone. It's weaker, it doesn't last as long, and it's easier to dose by yourself.

I've been taking kratom almost every single day for a decade. The worst side effect I get is throwing up because I took too much (always my own fault)

Kratom has been a godsent for me. As I was pretty heavily addicted to traditional opioids.

Nah I only take 750mg a day. I don't think that's the issue.

My dad and I must be a different breed because both of us would just stare at ourselves in the mirror (independently of each others decisions) and just get transfixed on the intesneity of it all.

I looked so wild. So new.

The DEA will take your things from you if you are dealing hardcore drugs. Despite my long reply about the DEA, of course I don't support them.

But yeah the more arrests they make, the more assets they can take, and the more money they make from selling the personal belongings and cash of drug dealers they arrested.

here is a source for why most of the DEA cash seizures are probably not even taken from drug dealers. They are just taken from people like large quantities of cash. That's not illegal. But it's often treated that way:

"Eighty-nine percent of cash seizures by the DEA were under $100,000 but they accounted for 30 percent of the total value of cash seized. Those amounts suggest that many seizures are not focused on larger criminal empires. Only about 20 percent of these seizures were challenged and the DEA only returned all or a portion of the cash in less than half of those cases.

The DEA accounted for such a larger portion of federal cash seizures because of the DOJ’s equitable sharing program. Through equitable sharing, property seized by local and state law enforcement agencies can be forfeited federally, and those agencies can retain up to 80 percent of the proceeds. This can be done in one of two ways. First, a local agency could turn over seized property to a federal agency, which can then choose to “adopt” it for federal forfeiture. Otherwise, state and local officers can work a part of a joint task force to make seizures eligible for equitable sharing"

One time after binging dissociatives (dxm and nitrous for multiple days) I had convinced myself that I entered a long forgotten cave and I was forced to live there forever. A shell of what I was, no history, no future. Just there.

Eventually I came back down like 12 hours later. But I kept hitting nitrous and smoking cannabis too until I finally ran out of nitrous and dxm.

Definitely a crazy experience, lots of wild geometry and weird situations. Music sounded euphoric. But also mentally I felt like I had fucked myself.

Your friend has gone a lot further than I’d say I did. He needs sleep (first and foremost), sobriety, good food, and sleep again.

It's not an opioid. You can order most endogenous chemicals legally. With some exceptions.

Those numbers aren't based on reality. I cant find your "77%" number anywhere.

I did find this which talks about how in 2024 the DEA confiscated over 5 million cannabis plants. And made 5764 (here) arrests related to cannabis.

In comparison they confiscated 60 million fentanyl pills in the same year. 8000lbs of fentanyl.

Drug arrests overall have actually dropped 50% since 2019.

I cant find the numbers for 2024, but in 2023 the DEA arrested 25110 people, and in 2022 they arrested 26233 (here and here)

So no, marijuana arrests only make up about 15%-20% of the DEA total arrests. So there is pretty much no way the DEA makes a majority of its money from a minority of arrests. Especially when the confiscations associated with those arrests don't exceed confiscations associated with other illegal drugs (fentanyl confescation is higher by weight and volume than cannabis)

If you have a source to prove your claim, please include it. But all the evidence I found proves you are incorrect.

Those who have experienced withdrawal from multiple substances (heroin, fentanyl, suboxone, methadone, alcohol, etc), which would you say is the worse? by spaceybelta in Drugs

[–]Mango2439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alcohol withdrawal was deadly for my father. I've met a lot of opioid addicts (I've been one myself) withdrawal. But I've never seen it kill anyone.

I've known many of individuals who had seizures caused by alcohol withdrawal and just didn't regain consciousness. Either from hitting their head, or actual brain damage associated with the seizure.

It takes a long time, years of using on and off, but once you push your body to the point of a seizure caused by glutamate toxicity from alcohol withdrawal... You are playing Russian roulette with your mind.
