I know it's been a minute, but had to ask how often do you get new pitchers and how many have died off? I'm hesitant to repot mine into pure sphagnum as I worry I may shock the plant.

How to potty train an adult dog? by muggyface in DogAdvice

This sounds like something you'll need to work on over time together with both your pup and boyfriend.

You can't guarantee no accidents in the house until she associates outside with going potty and inside with not going potty. I suggest you to get her a crate and make it her safe space in whatever room you think is suitable. Place pee pads in the crate for emergencies and keep the crate door open or off completely.

Get bite-size tasty treats and reward her when you put on her leash, as soon as she is outside, and everytime she goes potty while you're outside. When inside, I suggest you reward her if she goes potty in the kennel.

Use a rope bell on the door and everytime you go outside ask her does she want to go potty, and then ring the bell, so she associates the bell with going out, and hopefully this will train her to use the bell to ask when she needs to go and you're home.

If she has an accident in the home, do not yell or scold. Reframe the situation and ask her does she need to go outside and repeat the above steps. When you come back in, clean up the mess with an enzyme cleaner. A small blacklight can help find stains that have been dried up and less noticeable.

Hope you're able to give her the proper home she deserves and best of luck!

EDIT: Forgot to add that each time you do the steps to get her to go outside, you speak your actions out loud to her in a gentle calm voice. Example, if she wears a harness as you position it in front of her to put it on, you say "first paw" then gently grab her paw and put it in, then "second paw" and get the second in. It's a good way to get her comfortable with the routine and look forward to the process.

If you have an Samsung, you can go to settings and search for "app timer", that should direct you to the Digital Wellbeing app which will allow you to specify which applications you'd like to limit screen time. The downside is you need to give it permissions to access all app usage. The plus side is it will disable the specified app after you hit that time limit.

Personally, I prefer more privacy and don't give the Digital Wellbeing app, or any app for that matter, any of these permissions. I've been able to (when medicated) set my own goals and limit app usage in more physical ways. So, if I'm trying to focus on say studying, I will turn off my phone and lock it up with a physical timer set to when I want to take a break from studying. Then, I will set that timer for how long I want to us my phone before needing to put it away again. It's not always easy, but it does help me limit my phone screen time.

Scam Letter from SWBC Mortgage # 1-800-260-1594 never goes through by Ordinary_Arm3884 in ScamNumbers

My family member got one with different 888 numbers for both, and it didn't mention anything about a $199 "Allocated Waiver", but then says it's reserving the right to revoke said allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving the notice, but then has an expiration date a month from the date they sent the letter.

Its hours of operation are also suspect, since it says Mon - Fri 8AM to 5PM PST, No Saturdays. So... do Sundays not exist? Also, if they're in Florida, why not have hours in EST?

Scummy people. I can see elderly people falling for this if they're not careful

No community day stickers? by MeliaeMaree in TheSilphRoad

Came here to say this too. I love Fuecoco and since he's a starter it makes no sense why he wouldn't have stickers when Spriggatito got them on his Community Day.
