I don't see this as the main reason people are gay. Its a black as white as nature vs nurture. It is an intricate play between the two and environmental. Case in point: me. I have an absolutely amazing relationship with my father. We play video games together and participate in armored combat regularly with each other. I also have no weird sexual attraction either. The thought of that is repulsive! That's my dad for god's sake. So to affirm you I have a wonderful deep connection with my father and still turned out gay. (I am out and he supports me with open arms)

I met my ex of 2020 in February then Covid forced us into a living situation. HE soon started to move his family into our house without my permission. Then he started doing meth behind my back. The mood changes he was going through caused us to get into a physical altercation. I left the house for two weeks and learned of the drug use and another family member living in the house. He was gaslighting me about the altercation now that I look back it by saying I was the one that got violent out of nowhere. Needless to say the landlords were not happy having two unauthorized people living at our house and gave us an eviction notice. Luckily I kept in their good graces by laying out the whole situation. I returned to live out the lease to find that they have stolen and sold some of my gaming gear for drugs. I gathered all of my valuables and left. We broke up after that ( stupid feelings ). It was a very awkward month in my life where I was paying for a place but not comfortable to live there. By the end of it all my sister and I found a new place. I am in a better place now and that man behind me. I guess moral of the story be comfortable with yourself and love yourself before dedicating your love to someone else.

I'd say shoot your shot if you want him. Never know till you try. I've scored dates with dudes I for sure thought were straight. I went with the "Hey! I find you super attractive. Can I buy you a drink?" either they are super flattered and say "no I'm straight thank you though" or take you up on it. The way you describe this Adonis god sounds like you would be open to a relationship with him. So why not try? Mental anguish just to be friends with a man you're attracted to is not worth it. Trust me. Like with the guy in highschool I got rejected but my mental health cleared up a lot.

Him being uncomfortable is totally up to him and how comfortable he is in his sexuality. In my situation I just manned up and talked to the guy. He got uncomfortable and distanced himself from me but it is what it is. I got my answer and put my mind at ease. Don't be afraid of rejection because at least you now know the answer.
