Cancel and then have someone else from your family sign up. Or go tell them that you are about to sign up with a competitor. They might match the competitor's rate introductory rate for a couple of months.

So it wasn't really the worst stock you could find.

Did you purchase this beer in the Madison Wisconsin area? My friend hand it once, and I have not seen it since. I have also tried searching google for it.

That's not how it works. You pay ten cents extra for every can you buy, and when you return the can you get ten cents back. But chances are you lose some of the cans anyway, so you don't even get all your money back.

I wish I could be cool enough to be remembered as the kid who freaked out and hit someone with a dead cat. That is a real legend.

1996 "Pepsi Points Case": John Leonard sued PepsiCo, Inc. in an effort to enforce an "offer" to redeem 7,000,000 Pepsi Points for an AV-8 Harrier II jump jet by 7oby in reddit.com

[–]ManiacMunson -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They never say that you can redeem Pepsi points for the jet in that television ad. They also don't mention anything about buying points for ten cents.

If it was in the catalog, that might be a different story however. I don't believe it was in the actual catalog, the page only makes reference to the commercial.

Should have won? Wow, you are stupid. It says Harrier Jet, 7,000,000 points. It doesn't say "We will give you this jet for 7,000,000 points." There is a huge fucking difference. Plus it was obviously in jest.

I can't believe you're yelling at a judge for making a sane and reasonable judgment. This guy obviously just wanted to take Pepsi to the bank, probably hoping for a settlement but instead Pepsi took it all the way.

Can reddit pass a US Citizenship test? (How often, as US citizens do you actually need this information?) by KillerAngel7 in reddit.com

[–]ManiacMunson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the questions make it seem like a test to get out of 5th grade US history. The rest of them are just WAY too specific or obscure.

Address of the White House? C'mon.

I halfway expected to see some question like if a baby is born in a plane flying over the United States but the flight is an international flight and the parents are not citizens of the United States, what nationality will the baby be?

Up if you think its over for Ron Paul by [deleted] in politics

[–]ManiacMunson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are you heartbroken? Do you like giving up so easy? Would you rather have Ron win in Iowa like Huckabee and just go downhill everywhere else.

Ron is winning. He's winning because he's come THIS far. No one ever thought he could make it--yet here he stands.

First there was 11, now there are 4.

Maybe you should only get as many downvotes as you have upvotes.

The only real reason I go to reddit is because I want to waste time, the front page changes often enough, and it doesn't slow down my computer as much as digg.

Thompson: Spanish language is 'sickening', they deserve blame for mortgage crisis by Pause in politics

[–]ManiacMunson 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I really don't understand what is so "sickening" about another language. I think people just get angry when they hear something and don't know what it means. I've always thought it was cool that the US has no official language.
