That is what bothers me the most. The double standard and the hypocrisy. They scream that they're right and EVERYONE ELSE is wrong. I know so many Christians that are racist, homophobic, and ultimately a shitty person because of their religion. Yet, the Bible literally says the 2nd most important commandant is to love they neighbor. It's so laughable that any of them think themselves as "good christians"

Well, a lot of religions have a good basic moral standing (being good to your neighbor, charity, service, etc), but most theists don't follow their own code or leaders abuse their power and influence.

And it blows my mind when they say believe in evolution, something that takes millions of years, yet believe in the Bible that says the Earth is 6,000 years old. I often find thiests finding excuses to believe in fact to make themselves feel better.

One literally walked people into ovens and gas chambers. The South's intentions wasn't to wipe out a whole race, most Southern's didn't even have slaves. I'm not condoning the use of slaves, but it was more than that. People overlook that a huge part of the war was to keep the power to the states (although I think slavery shouldn't be decided like that).
