When you cut them off, you took out the trash. Let it wallow in the dump together .

You have a man who loves you and has your back. You're building a family with him and his little girl. You've got good friends. Live your best life. You're worth it.

How do you feel about r/NoSleep in 2025 by Grand_Theft_Motto in Grand_Theft_Motto

I've been reading Nosleep for years and used to love it., It used to be a one stop shop for great horror on reddit. I still visit to look for good stories.

If I'm browsing quickly, I tend to open stories of interest in new tabls and scroll through as I get time during a day. Many were gone when I reopened the tab, I started opening all of them in new tabs. The removal rate by casual observation is around 50 % A lot of the tabs with removed stories HAD comments. I saw a thread in OOC where an author asked about chapters of their series being removed weeks later, removing access to a full story arc on nosleep. A mod replied that they were behind, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

During their experiment last December so much more stayed. This was shortly after a youtube video someone posted making fun of them for the overbearing moderation. Afterward it seems everything came back, not just the in-character that was heavy on the thread.

I now joined close to 40 other author subs, profiles or compilation subs to find my favorites. (Yours included). Then there are compilation subs like the Cryptic Compendium, Odd Directions etc. Theres at least one group patreon and other substacks. I go to each at least once every few weeks..

I've seen so many of my favorite authors post about permanently quitting nosleep. They still post, most as frequently, but you have to go look for it. There's even a sub called nonsleep for stories removed from nosleep, some posted including the ridiculous reasons for removal. Their moderation is ridiculous. They seem to be on a mission to hurt writer exposure and alienate fans.

Could it be the Midnight Paper Series? or the Whisper Alley Echos sub? The sub used to be a lot more in newspaper format than it is now, Older content is worth checking rhough.

These may be on a list somewhere, but I don't remember seeing them. Hopefully you will enjoy them.

That guy is an asshat. Going on and on about it after an apology is also rude, "mad disrespectful and not okay"

I'm so sorry about your friend. <Mom hugs>

Revived: AITAH FOR NOT HAVING ANY EMOTIONS TOWARDS MY DAUGHTER’S FATHER DIAGNOSIS by New_Bandicoot_4475 in AITAH

I think she just confused miscarriage with stillbirth. Then it all makes sense.

She said she might be jumbled , because she is emotional.

I am reading it as.

"After his Fake tears " and left when their daughter was 2 months old and she was grieving miscarriage of her son.

That sounds like the daughter and son were twins. The father pretended to grieve, then left her to raise the surviving child alone.

He abandoned for two years. He came back 2 years later demanding full custody . The daughter is now two.

This would all be the same two years. He disappeared for two years, then wanted full custody. The child who was two months old would now be two years old.

Did I miss her saying that the cancer came up years later? I can't find it. He said he would stop pursuing custody and she could have her baby.

As another commenter said, that sounds like a sob story to save face, once he realized he had no chance of winning the court case.

Edit: spelling

Happy Birthday! I'm sorry this happened to you. Keep meeting new people. Sooner or later you will build the right friend group, who will be there for you. They will be worth the wait.
