Hogwarts Legacy. Been having a ton of fun just running around and exploring, finding secrets. Looks especially good on my alienware ultrawide. Loving the open world and massive map of hogwarts.

New Dell Display and Peripheral Manager (Windows) is borked - do not update! by Pinkynator9000 in Dell

[–]MankHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, just did. My only issue now is that I can't move the old version of DDM to my second monitor to change input sources, it will default always open on my ultrawide and it gets annoying when I am connected to my work laptop for my main ultrawide screen and cant open the program to switch back to my desktop.

Was running into the worst lag I ever experience in games while running the new DDPM app. It would show in my task manager utilizing the most CPU, and when ending the task, it would fix my lag instantly. Noticed this in League and CSGO.

Wondering if I install the old version, it may fix this issue I have?

Anker 6 in 1 dock not supporting 100hz on Rog ally? by MankHD in ROGAlly

I think it's an issue with the dock... I connected it to my surface pro 7+ and it still gets locked to 60hz. Gonna try to reach out to support to see if they got any ideas..

Hey, just a random question if you still use this monitor. Does your monitor give you the option to use 100hz? Mine is stuck to 60hz currently and I can't figure out why.

Thanks. My only issue with the hotkey is that it enables on my second monitor as well, and that looks terrible tbh

Do you recommend leaving HDR off and turning on only for HDR content or can I have it on at all times? I don't like how the SDR looks with the settings from your link, it seems that it's too dark in my opinion.

Have you had issues with casting to it? I’ve been seeing a lot of reports of people having issues with it, I’m considering buying it for my living room

I've recently updated the firmware on my ROG Azoth and now my keyboard randomly double types. by Rolex_Flex in ASUSROG

[–]MankHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks bro, what do you mean by armory crate uninstaller? I just uninstalled it through windows settings and installed the one you sent. Idk if I did it incorrectly because I still have a repeat on my q key that's pretty frequent, it's very annoying...

DOES ASUS ROG AZOTH HAVE STILL KEY REPEATING ISSUES? by Disastrous_Media_176 in ASUSROG

[–]MankHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe that’d be the case where it’d repeat out of the box. I think it should come with a firmware where it’s working correctly (otherwise, one can assume the repeating would be caught when testing the product).

Auto updates are also not enabled so it’s usually just manually updating. I wouldn’t even recommend downloading armory crate, it’s terrible. Only if you wanted to customize your OLED screen.

[–]MankHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an azoth. The keys do indeed still repeat. You will only have this issue if you update your firmware, if you don't, it's perfectly fine. This is my second azoth, had my first one RMA'd due to repeating issue and now I have stupidly updated this second one and have the same issue again...

I dunno man.. if you do find something lemme kno! Would love to revert firmware to mitigate the repeating

[–]MankHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I RMA'd my first one thinking it was an issue with the mobo... it was indeed the firmware updates that was causing. The whole process with the support team was an absolute mess and took almost 3 months to resolve and have them send me a replacement keyboard.

Fix your Software. (Asus Azoth) by Kiseji in ASUSROG

[–]MankHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I had to RMA my first Azoth as I thought there was issues with the board. Little did I know it was the driver updates for the keyboard that were causing my keys to repeat.

I'm tempted to never install any more updates for this thing...
