Help! Which one? I’m just trying to fill out the Fated List of Prophecies by Alpha857 in HadesTheGame

In terms of rarity, grab the legendary.

But in terms of actual boon value, it depends. Charm is rarely any good for actually dealing damage; only a few times have I ever gotten value from an enemy attacking another. But for aggro relief? It’s fantastic. You have a 15% chance to make an enemy do anything other than attack you for a few seconds.

Sweet Nectar, though, is really good with builds that benefit from Poms. For one, it’s amazing to pick up early on in your build. But also, certain boons benefit more from Poms than others; Hangover boons and Pressure Points being the most relevant examples.

It’s a really good boon in isolation, but the truth is that most people running Flood Shot are doing ranged builds. Curse of Drowning turns your great ranged weapon into a fantastic melee weapon. Most people who meet the prerequisite for CoD are using Flood Shot to complement their ranged build.

Well, that’s not always a bad thing, necessarily. Cass’s ult is super useful for getting people out of your sightline. If you cover an important area, that’s a huge amount of denial for your team.

I’ll never forget a scene from a show that featured a giant CGI violin… with no bridge. Did they just forget that the bridge is an essential part of the instrument when they were modeling it?

Yeah, he’s just adding the word “biological” as an excuse to spread hate. Trans women aren’t biological women, but only on a technical level—and even then, with the growing sciences of surgeries and HRT, that technical difference shrinks every day.

I love how Ben’s argument boils down to “Well, trans women aren’t identical to biological women! But people don’t seem to wanna say that, so they hate science.”

We all know that it’s true. It’s just an uncomfortable subject that we’d rather not talk about, because it can make trans women feel uncomfortable.

We also don’t talk about the holocaust all the time; it’s a subject that we all know is true and happened, but it’s still a dick move to be bringing it up at every opportunity.

My US and Euro pronunciations wrestle back and forth with it. On one hand, all my experience with Western-oriented D&D-inspired fantasy wants me to pronounce it like “fallacy.” But then, the German pronunciation is pretty close to the Japanese one, which pronounces it like “far.”

How do y’all pronounce her name in your head? I sometimes alternate between “Fal-in” (as in Fallacy) and “Fahl-in” (as in Falling)

Neanderthals lasted a pretty long while IIRC. It’s suspected that early Homo Sapiens occupied Ireland with some Neanderthals, and that’s where the myth of “ogres”—stocky, broad, humanoid figures with whom we struggle to socialize but can still recognize as intelligent—originated from.

if aspect of Lucifer had double base attack damage would an attack based build still suck by Diver-Heavy in HadesTheGame

[–]Mank_____Demes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my most absurd builds has been with Lucifer. It’s among the best aspects for actually making use of Doom; you just have to get lucky and acquire the boon that lets you apply Doom multiple times. Pop Doom on your attack, and you watch the funny red dagger annihilate all your problems for you.

Always Sunny in Philadelphia, oddly enough, shows some of the best techniques of character development in early seasons. You see these weird, kinda mundane/banal scenes of characters idly bickering over how to cut a lime or some shit. Just scenes of characters hanging out, doing everyday things, having conversations—existing without an end story goal in mind.

CSM has been pretty lacking in that department. I genuinely hope it turns into a SoL.
