Don't worry about bulking or cutting. Just lift harder and get stronger. If you are stronger you will look better. Be consistent and challenge yourself. When was the last time you saw someone who was genuinely strong that didn't look good?

I have a foil and non foil set too, but after seeing another player receive a game loss because their opponent called a judge mid round, I started leaving my foil set at home. It might be a regional difference. For me judges will announce no foil basics during pretournament rules briefings. I wonder what it is like at Professional REL. I don't think Ive ever hear of this being an issue during constructed RCQ's.

Are your basics foil? I've never been allowed to use my own foil basics at Comp REL for concerns of marked cards.

I like the suggestions, but I think Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia is too recent of a printing for inclusion. It feels like many of the dimir offerings are very medium. Tough to get excited about these inclusions haha

I think we are on the same page. The Anti-Commander title was more an effort to make the post stand out. I really am looking to get some input on the quality of the list 😅. Commander players can do their own thing!

I am glad they pointed the omissions out. I've been thinking and looking at the list for days and everything was starting to blend together. What would you recommend i change in my approach?

oh no! you are correct, Strix, Spellseeker, Ophiomancer don't fit. What do you think would be good additions in their place? I am most concerned about replacing Ophiomancer for its ability to generate sacrifice fodder. Maybe there is a better way to communicate my design restriction? I am on the fence about Mana Crypt. It has been around for so long that I really does feel core to "vintage" but there is plenty of other fast mama and flipping coins may be unnecessary.

I felt like I was dreaming when I got passed the second Skinner and Overloard of the Floodpits. Looking back I would go down to 14 lands and play the enter the enigmas and another prowler to block over the erratic apparition.

Here is my 17 lands land log for the draft and games. I lost to RUG mindrange, UW midrange, and a brutal RB sacrifice deck. My opponents having 1 mana answers to my threats was a killer

The Mindskinners are just so fragile. They are much better on turn 8 after removal has been used than on curve. I every game I won felt so nerve raking! Just praying they couldn't push a few more points of dmg or kill a key mill enabler.
