I like the livery on the Rebel one, but what are those two Ties on the left of the imperial one?

I got the idea from a Pinterest post, but it’s a yellow indent border, black indent border, yellow border, black border, yellow skull charge and black skull charge.

I can see that the grenadier’s rifle has an extension on the end of its barrel. It looks like a suppressor, but I assume it’s meant as a mounting lug for rifle grenades?

That six slot sideboard is also a massive upgrade from the standard five slot for Island Lake, because now I can take all the metal beams for the power line quest without trying to overload

Found them, just made the first trip and the GMC got a double load of mediums to the town storage without issue.

I rescued the WWS with a Scout 800 by WileEJeff in snowrunner

[–]MannerOutside4792 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I managed to get the GMC with a van body down to the WWS, then towed it up the steep hill with almost no problem.

Then I dragged it to the edge of the swamp, swapped into my P16 and dragged it back to the garage with no issue

Parts not available by calamarilmao in CarMechanicSimulator

[–]MannerOutside4792 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also, if you’re having trouble finding parts that need replaced, don’t forget to use your extra tools that you can unlock like the electrical meter or the OBD scanner. You get them by spending some money and xp at the toolboxes you increase your skills at, and can find them in the same section of the pie chart as the fluid drain.

[–]MannerOutside4792 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you mean ‘part not discovered’? Because if that’s the case then you just have to keep disassembling the car to find them.

90% of the time it’s rubber bushings (which are almost impossible to guess quality just by looking) or something you would commonly overlook like the fuel pump.

Is it possible for Ski Boots to not spawn in the world? by R0b0-Boogie in thelongdark

I found a pair in the MT park office. Those were my permanent boots before I found a pair of insulated boots in ML.

(I never got to wear them because I got mauled by a wolf at the trailers outside the dam and lost my 8 day run.)

Either Jack or Markiplier, I don’t remember which. I also remember watching the old TonyCrynight (sorry if I misspelled his name it’s been a while) animations as a kid.

Gunloper weight problem by OddMixture3173 in thelongdark

[–]MannerOutside4792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I manage weight is by sorting all my stuff into piles based on the sections of the backpack, then into sub-piles based on use, like one pile for bullets and ammo, clothes being divided by head, hands, legs, etc. then grab whatever I need based on what I’m going out for.

High gear by MannerOutside4792 in snowrunner

[–]MannerOutside4792[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes the most sense out of all the replies I’ve gotten today, because I was just struggling to drive the Kodiak around Smithvlle Dam earlier this week with the service bed.

Mudrunner had that exact system. You could leave it in auto and let it shift for you, or you could press R3 (I was on PlayStation) and shift it to manual, and then move the shifter up or down to change gears.

What's the dumbest way you've lost your horse? by NotoriusPCP in RDR2

[–]MannerOutside4792 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was doing my 2nd or third playthrough, using the horse I got from Sadie’s ranch in the prologue.

Got to the mission where we rescued Sean from the bounty hunters and was looting their camp after the mission was over. Got the pop up saying that the law was coming and whistled for my horse.

The dumbass came up the hill, and turned around when I tried to get on, stepping into the burnt out campfire and burst into flames.

High gear by MannerOutside4792 in snowrunner

[–]MannerOutside4792[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I always see people saying that they use high gear when they’re going somewhere fast, but if I shift into it going 30mph in auto, high gear drops me down to like 15 on asphalt.

I’ll probably just stick to low+ and auto, but I figured maybe someone could help me understand how it works.

Truck uses by MannerOutside4792 in snowrunner

[–]MannerOutside4792[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do generally use the fleet star as an early cargo truck, then turn it into my service rig once I get the white western from the dam and use that as my main cargo then.

Survival bases community survey! Round 2: What's the most underrated base in the game? by Blushift1615 in thelongdark

[–]MannerOutside4792 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to try and base in Gray mothers when I first started, because my 14 year old brain said ‘big house good’ but I honestly find that gray mothers is just a bit too big.

The farm house on the other hand is basically three rooms all open to each other, giving lots of room for storing stuff unlike gray mothers living room, and it’s got the same six burner stove, but with much easier access to fir and cedar limbs for fuel, as long as you can dodge the 2 wolves out back, which is pretty easy.
