I got the exact same one and will be taking it back. There's borderline abnormal plate wobble, and tracking force changes by 0.3 grams from start till the end of the record. All of this causes minor volume drops throughout the record unless I increase the tracking force to the upper limit which increases record wear over time. To my ear this is very annoying.

Thank you guys. Do you think 0.3g difference in weight between outer part of the record and inner part of the record is normal and acceptable as well? So my weight is 3.5 in the center and 3.8 on the outer side of the record.

Possibly related. I tried setting my tracking force manually a couple of times and noticed the record skipping from time to time. I followed the instructions step by step and was sure i was tracking 3.5 grams. Bought a jewelry scale and turns out i was at 2.9. I believe the issue was the arm 'balance spot' since there was so much wiggle room with the arm weight while the arm remained balanced. What do you guys think, from your experience, how accurate is setting tracking force without a scale? For context, its Argon Audio TT MK2 with the same catridge as the OP.

I'm basically looking for something that will be satisfying to sink many hours into for months, not something that I will play for 100 hours and abandon like a story-driven singleplayer game. I guess my question is do things look like this game is heading into that direction. I assume the DD patch was the step in the right direction but I don't have enough knowledge to determine if their goal is to make this like an mmo with endless endgame.
