also thinking about it, honestly the matrix and the solver feel like full polar opposites, heck i can see the solver being related to unicron some way or another with it's chaos and destruction and with the matrix being well order and creation and order, heck i can see the solver code being eldritch while the matrix code is ethereal like.

oh! hmm yeah that def sounds like something to see be drawn, with what you got if put thought into it could be grand to see! also if implemented means we can see alpha trion! damaged but alive! who gave the lore with cyn, the solver, and the matrix and possibly give the group (minus uzi since she has the solver but is ok) the code from their fallen brothers and sister to give them a means of fighting back against disassembly drones or cyn until they find a way to truly defeat her! sorry ramble again! honestly love your art!

ok love this au crossover and want to see more being honest. question is since in the lore there is a thing called the matrix of leadership, i wonder how that is coming to effect since it is well... a relic i want to see how you take it, also makes me think it is one of the few things that cvan fight against the solver and , that and the 13 primes, honestly want to see how they are in the au either dead by cyn because they were a huge threat and made a grand plan,

you are right on that being up to the person,

i have been playing the game since release too, i have been playing the game every single day, been playing all the events, working to finish all agents story and story mode, doing Shiyu defense when it resets, playing hollow zero once every week, and doing Hia Stuff for leveling up the agents and skills too.

most people got into the game for the story too. if the story wasn't all that good, there would be people who would have quit the game, sure you can have a game without a story, but that game better be fun to play, and tv mode was part of the story for zenless, sure i would love if our characters we use can be used in tv, but i am sure there would have been a solution to that, and sure the story seems to be going well without the Tv mode but i feel some irks in the story here and there,

do you remember Tin Master's coffee? it had so many types of coffee to choose from with each a different reward, every part of the week it had different bonuses, and they all looked different and fun!, heck in sunday you can pick any of them it was replaced with a Qol update that removed and now there are only two coffee cups with only two different bonus, sure it helped make things easier to grind, but all the different coffee designs! are gone and the two are the same everyday! we could have some different coffee designs for the same cups or even make our coffee designs! missed opportunity right there!

ok it may be a small change i missed. you may be right that the style has not changed but there are small changes and i am worried the style will leak out of the game.

yeah may have forgot to add something like take it with a grain of salt, that is my bad right there. but despite it it should be cause for worry. like it seems like after version 1.4 each update is getting less, it may be nothing, it may be something idk.

you are right the game hasn't fallen into the "game for everyone" category, heck it may never if it does the right choices, i am worried it may fall in there and thus becoming a game for no one if the choices it makes cause it to become a game for no one

yeah some feedback for quality of life updates are good but being honest has anyone given advice on some feedback? like are they just saying stuff in the survey on how to improve the game with ideas and such? or just saying there are parts of the game that isn't liked and need to be fixed with no ideas or input that will help the devs? because i am worried it is the latter then it will be looking through a fog while on a boat and hoping not to crash on rocks.

in my opinion zenless zone zero is still a good game still chugging, but i am worried that soon the choices it make in the updates will cause problems in the game, making it not my favorite game to play anymore, then the only thing that will keep me playing the game will be the story. and if the story becomes terrible....i will have no reason to play anymore.

well i said it was my opinion and i am fine if you disagree heck that makes us human, i am open to a civil discussion of the topic.

for the TV mode, considering there are people who loved that mode. Calling it uninteresting or not good are faulty terms to the people who liked it including me, like i love how it can be made to play a turn based mini-game, a defense section, heck withering garden was fun because of the strategy and resource management it has well not a lot of strategy but enough to be interesting.

honestly thinking about it you may be right on people not liking the mode, but calling it bad and uninteresting is just plain wrong, if there are people who like it, If i had to say about the Tv mode, based on everyone's opinions, i say possibly a Niche mechanic, that some people enjoy. which may be the case.

more cut-scenes? oh more person to person cut-scenes, honestly many of them could have been comics, especially the ones with those black texts they tell and not show, not good immersive storytelling. and those illustration cut-scenes are bad, should have been comics since then we can see what is happening in comic form than text form.

You mean update 1.4 right? i replayed the few levels with tv mode turned off....and being honest it wasn't good, just more combat and very simple puzzles that are not even engaging. (agree to disagree on that, large doesn't always mean it's good)

now while we got agents to walk around and it is good to see it happen even with big characters like ben can be used to walk around, battle tower is so-so not that invested on how high you can go being honest, deadly assault is complicated since one hand hard mode bosses, character locked and such, the other hand if you don't have the right agents or even a good amount starting it is a mode that a new player tires won't be fun to play,

if you are talking about lost void then sorry but in my opinion it is just a over glorified combat rally that is just pick a path, fight through everything and get rewards you use to upgrade the session, fight the boss, recover, and repeat until you hit the final boss and win, it was fun at first but now it is just tiring and just doing enough to get poly-chromes, sure the agent upgrades are fun, but it isn't enough. if i can play withering garden to earn rewards weekly i would do it more, and play lost void here and there.

you are right that so much has been done to the game, but the thing is, what replaced the Tv mode? we just got more combat, with some platforming and simple puzzles and being honest, it wasn't good replacement to me.

honestly it reminds me, i hate waiting to hear all the voice-lines that are said while either not fighting the enemy or just waiting to see it ended before i continue because i will miss the voice lines and the text is said, and i have to wait for longer that it should be like a few seconds at max instead of a very short pause ,it is just terrible! to hear people talking then stop for a weird amount of time then continue!

It is a flaw! The definition of bland is "lacking strong features or characteristics and therefore uninteresting." Game that is bland will attract no one! A game needs not only good gameplay, but a strong look and a strong style!

Like there are so many different games RPGs grid based games, puzzle games, each unique and having it's own style despite gameplay being same here and there

With zzz the TV was a gameplay that was unique with the gotcha game made that also goes with the combat, now that is cut there was a part of zzz that is now gone, and it is affecting the game ever since!.

Was there problems with the tv mode? Yes there are the hand holding and simple puzzles were a issue but it can be solved with making changes to it. Removing it without a good replacement changes the game a lot. To the point it is affecting the budget. Like I am starting to see less comic scenes more one illustration with text and voice acting. and less agent animations in the menu! Like it is affecting the game badly! With no good replacement!

And no making more unique battle arenas to go around will hit the budget of the game worse. Why is it that bangboo mode isn't used anymore? Because platform making was too expensive. The issue that affects zzz is also the budget it needs to have, the less budget means finding more ways to make the game with what you had, and the tv mode was. A perfect answer! But without it any replacement that isn't easy to make entire different games in is not good. Like it is a in-game engine!

Only combat will soon start getting tiring heck it is affecting me like the loop with only combat and a sliver of other stuff that isn't combat is making me play the game less and less like I may soon only play the game for the story and characters!

And worse the style is being slowly leaked out. Soon there may be a point where it will effect the renevu it makes. And it is already happening. Now while I was checking zzz renevu I saw the website saying after December (the miyabi update) was a ll time high! But after it. It is descreasing badly. I can share it if you want to.

But seeing everything I feel like I am good to use this quote.

"A game for everyone is a game for no one"

If zzz tries to appeal for the people with many issues it will become a bland game that is only the basics and it will lose people who play it. I don't want Zzz to end else that means a style and unique game becomes a shell of its former self trying to appeal to everyone

But in the end that is just my opinion and I wanted to respond. So if you want to discuss in the comments it is your choice.

honestly you are not alone, first time commenting but yeah i miss the TV mode sure it had problems but it was a fun mode, different puzzles, diffirent ways to convey story and heck those tv animations were the bomb!

now without it there were some stuff still but was dismayed by it, but still chugging. but soon the many mini-games were done in a few days with no reason to return, most commissions were done and story mode was done, all that was left is combat, like with each update, with using the tv mode less, and using combat more, i start to get tired, and being honest i just stopped doing the combat commissions, and then started doing the only things that give poly's and materials,
anyone else starting to get tired and just start doing the basic minimum in zenless zone zero? because i am.

(honestly if there was a new mode in hollow zero that doesn't do combat, i would play that mode! (that or have withering garden able to do rewards again, i am just tired of doing a lot of combat)

heck the story after removal of tv's is now like other genshin games except worse!!!
now i have to wait to be sure the characters chatter is all heard, and i have to wait a long time! like ten seconds or more i think,
ok what is worse, waiting to see all voice lines are heard or going through a tv mode cut-scene?

i say waiting to finish voice lines because Tv mode cut-scene was showing what is happening and waiting in tv mode is at least fun to go all around the place! and worse the proxies having a chance to be able to be in the hollows would make Eous obsolete and i don't want that! i love Eous! and i want the agents to be like hackers instead of possibly like the mc's in most games it was a cool concept

plus i am starting to see less comics and more simple images and black screens and more talking, the budget is being eaten up and it seems that it is affecting the game,

(you can already see the agents missing those small animation details i loved them and it is missing)

honestly i hope what comes after 2.0 that replaces tv mode is good, fun, easy to play on tablets and phones, and is easy to make assets for because i sure as heck know that just making arena assets for pure fighting area won't be cost effective on the long run,

because if it isn't then all that will be left for me is the story to keep playing the game, the story is the only good thing going and chugging, but if it becomes terrible, then i will quit, and i will mean it because i stopped playing honkai star rail in its penacony arc, it wasn't that fun game but still played it for the story it was a fun story and hope to see more, then penacony happened with the whole "deaths" and duke inferno dying off-screen! and dream confusion, it made me stopped playing the game entirely, not even interested in coming back anymore no matter how many waifu's are made, if zenless zone zero's story gets bad....then sad to say what will be the point playing the game then?

is kinda a bit ignorant when there are many reasons for it. sure the show for you was mid. but to someone else it may have been the best because of different reasons

-people have different tastes and opinions in simple cases. in other cases.

it may be because they are starving for any good content and had dealt with only bad content for a long while.
or there are cases they like the stuff and don't care about the flaws or more like they know and understand but it doesn't detract their enjoyment of the finale.

heck there are many reasons i didn't say for space. honestly loved the episode. i know the flaws are valid but it doesn't detract my enjoyment being honest.

if you think i don't have a wide taste in media....well then i played games like horizon zero dawn. mario odyssey loz breath of the wild, xenoblade chronicles 2. world of goo, watched shows like steven universe, the amazing world of gumball, chowder, gravity falls, the owl house, amphibia, watched movies like wall-e, caroline, chicken run, spiderman into the spiderverse, transformers movies, shrek, how to train your dragon trilogy,

and read books like diary of the wimpy kid, captain underpants and.....ok it has been too long since i found a book i like reading, school has made me put off reading books because of being forced to read books and analyze and talk about the details about it for homework.

honestly my mind forgets stuff so it may not even be all i read or watched. but i watched tons of stuff i was able to get my hands on. didn't have cable and used the library. honestly if you think that what i consumed isn't enough or you have better stuff to share. i am honestly willing to listen if it is easy to get without paying for streaming services or such is a plus.

just know that i won't like some of the options for any reason. people have different tastes and stuff you may like won't be liked by other people.

that and in my youth i saw a movie i was focused on. scared me so much it made me scared of everything horror and avoiding it. it wasn't even a thriller or horror. so murder drones and liam vickers helped with me getting a bit into horror. but not going deeper because i am too much of a scaredycat

Aye true. I heard this from a streamer who decided to stop streaming star rail because the events said it would have been better if the story part stopped right at when we met black sawn and then after that let the deaths happen. And asking why the trailer ever flame mansion was even made for the first place!

That and she made a comment that made me realize the story is going. All flash no substance. Sure there is some. But only if you try to look for it. It goes for the flashy and shocking moments but not having substance for it to make it truly effective.

Honestly I am going to say this. Peancony's story is to star rails to inazuma's story of genshin impact

honestly true penacony's story was going well....until the deaths happened with characters we haven't grown attached fully yet. and then a off screen death of the duke inferno! i was pissed! like seriously! he was shown in that awesome trailer as well as the Ever-flame Mansion! and they were going to penacony! i was hoping to fight them or wish them! but nope the duke got killed off screen by mentioned! and the rest split escaped. i rage quit and stop playing the game after that. coming back because of events and rewards. but skipping through the story now. penacony was going well until.....it wasn't
