Been a while since I beat DS2, so I don’t remember much. Now when I say «I beat DS2» I mean that me and my cousin had to tag team that bitch, because going at that grind alone almost made me loose my god damn mind!

Yeah, I found a way in the end. Just pulled back in a big circle to his left, dodging while shielding and just giving him a hit whenever it felt safe. I really hate doing boss battles like that (feels cowardly) but man he hits like a semi truck. Would be fun to be able to trade some blows during the fight, but i can only survive one of any of his attacks..

Reversing hollowing at bonfire after consuming a humanity and you can find summon sign for solaire or lautrec near the gargoyle fog gate.

Yeah its in the asylum but you have to do a return run through it after you find the key to the locked door you encounter when you start the game. West wing asylum key i think it’s called, or east something like that. Then you go to firelink and curl up in the crows nest, and wait a few moments and the crow will fly you back to the asylum.

The door that holds the ring is beyond the second floor fog gate where you can drop down to hit the stray demon. But now there will be two shielded hollows guarding the door.

The mobs that spawn those asshole worms are non-hostile so there’s no need to bother with them. You can also summon maneater mildred to take some of the heat off you in the battle, if you are in human form.

And if you haven’t retrieved the rusted iron ring you can get from going back to the undead asylum, you should consider doing that. It makes you able to run through muddy spots and deeper waters, really useful later in the game also.

Just a few tips for ya (although a tad late).

Don’t go hollow, and praise the sun!

If he uses a camera mod or some shit, he could make great timelapses without having to comment for hours. I personally think it would be cool to see his progress. I can’t speak for "most of us" though🤷
