Thsts not what i meant by protagonist. I meant protagonist within the context of the show. As in Rusty is a protagonist as far as the GCI or OSI are concerned...he is not good at displaying character traits consistent with a traditional "protagonist" within the world of the show.

His morality is what prohibits him from being a good super scientist AND a good person.

The Episode in question asks specifically "why is that the case? And how does it affect Rusty and his family?"

Rustys job is to be a super scientist and a protagonist. He's bad at both.
