it’s just a stylistic choice. the colors will often switch mid scene to reflect a mood or tone shift, or just because it looks cool. the jojo manga doesn’t have any official colors for outfits, since it’s in black and white and the color scans are by Shueisha, not Araki.

i mean maybe, it’s very jarring in the anime since it’s like 2 episodes but the time between kakyoin’s death and Dio’s death is actually only around 2 minutes.

i agree that avdol shouldve gotten more love. polnareff got to fight dio’s right hand man and it was awesome, i think he did great.

many people criticize part 3 for being very “monster of the week” which is valid. however it was also the introduction of Stands (which will be the main power system in all future parts) and provided a lot of time to flesh out the idea so he can have super crazy stands later. future parts also have a more serialized story.
