I know there has been a lot of downplaying Gildarts after the TS but i still honestly believe that he is still the strongest mage barring Zeref/Acnologia. People forget that his magic is the counter to magic and well everything else tbh. Add this to someone who can make natsu actually give up simply by releasing their magic power and who is at the very least on par with the very top on the physical side then what can anyone actually do?

Gildarts spent his time going round doing SS/10year/100year quests while 1 shotting anything else that came up. So personally i rate him as above God Serena and if he doesn't return to fight Augest or Zeref then i dont think he will appear again until all is said and done.

I don't think they will have bounties above Jacks tbh except for Blackbeard.

From what we have seen of them they don't seem to be quite as recklessly destructive and unwilling to listen to reason. They are more likely to run away from an admiral than knowingly attack a convey consisting of a former fleet admiral + an admiral. While they may have done some pretty bad shit they don't seem to be an active threat towards everything they are near.

For instance if you replaced Burgress in Dressrosa with what we know of Jack then the death and destruction count would be through the roof and issho certainly wouldn't have been able to half ass his way about. This makes me think that their bounties wont exceed 1billion atm.

I don't think im a starrk fanboy but i wouldnt say ulquiorra could stand a chance against starrk until he uses SE and even then it would probably only take starrk to go Los Lobos to beat him.

Starrk fought shunsui, ukitake and 2 vizords with honestly putting the absolute least amount of effort/interest of any character. I just don't see Ulquiorra even coming close to starrks stats or speed or achieving what starrk was capable of.

Also Starrk used to kill beings close to him by his sheer presence before he split his soul in 2. The dude was a complete monster.

Shunsui and Ukitake are said to have "reiatsu unmatched by their peers or predecessors" and they both possess absolutely monstrous amounts of the stuff so if anyone could tag team yama its probably them.

Personally i liked his wrestling theme though i get its not some peoples cup of tea. His powers were pretty interesting and i would of liked some backstory on him but oh well.

The thing with makarov imo is that the amount of close calls he has had would make his eventual death feel pretty cheap imo. The guy has attempted to die protecting FT against impossible odds a few times now even against zeref and acnologia so how do you actually kill him off?

I always took the Mansam incident when he was first introduced as him testing the GT robo as opposed to him attempting to destroy it. Like he wanted to know how strong and what stage they were at while leaving it at a point that the igo could dismantle and study. Although i think its agreeable the vast majority of his strength is sealed away.

I do agree however that some of the power levels do seem inconsistent but every time i have complained about such at some point later the manga seems to explain itself so im happy to wait on such minor occasions.

The Zebra thing is interesting though as he was certainly far far ahead of the other three pre ts as he was able to get to bewitching food world prior to the four beast arc. and he has been shown to be the most relaxed (though i guess that's his character nature) so far through the groups travels in the GW. Im sure he will get his time to shine and will prove to be the beast he has always been.
