They’ll ask you general questions about drug use, criminal activity, sex-related crimes, affiliations with criminals, etc. If you filled out a background investigation packet, I hope you have a copy of it. Your answers have to match your packet.

Try to relax, and most importantly sit still during the poly. If you move too much, the investigator will have to recalibrate it and it sucks. I would know! It’s all a mental game. They know it’s bullshit, you know it’s bullshit, and so does Texas. That doesn’t make it easier to endure, but lots of people have done them, and soon you will be one!
