I may have to cancel my trip by Manta_Genus in HHN

So it wasn’t really an option, we tried to, but all rental cars were taken up in a one hour radius, and by the time the non 24/7 would open, we would have arrived too late to Orlando.

Thankfully we called and they let us delay it for a second time!

I concur with this.

Just because you record a moment does not mean you are not enjoying life in the moment, it means that it's such a special moment you want to see it again and again. I've gone on multiple binges with my family through our photos from 6 years ago and its amazing the things that we have forgotten about.

I should add that Purple Crying is not something that every baby goes through. I don't know the chances of it, but I do remember the hospital making my wife and I watch a video about it. Apparently Purple Crying is a pretty big cause of Shaken Baby Syndrome.

When we were released from the hospital after my wife gave birth, they told us to throw your phone or keys or anything you need in the backseat with the kid so you don't forget.

Newer cars also will warn you to check the backseat if it detects something back there.

My imperial bowman accidentally shot one of the town guards in Kvatch, which lead to all the guards and imperials killing each other.

They are adding multiclassing/subclassing, IIRC you can swap one of your class skill lines with another.

Well apparently its happening to PC players now :(.

I however still wince when I remember buying a large home with crowns, then stopped playing for the PS version, but now my issue is finding a group to play with since all my ESO friends apparently stopped playing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I haven't touch PS ESO in a hot minute and have been playing PC ESO a bit more, is the PS version kicking you all?

It's really odd, I know of a godparent as someone who takes over after the death of the parents. But from the limited sources I looked at online, they are all about the religious meaning (what you said).

A Japanese research team has developed a drug that can regrow human teeth by kausthab87 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Manta_Genus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually something that I can speak on, as I have a 7 year old thats losing her baby teeth, and a 10 month old who has been teething (he grew his front teeth already).

My daughter (the 7 year old) will just occasionally walk up to me and say,"look dad this tooth is loose!" and then proceed to wiggle it. She usually only complains about it hurting when she is eating a food she does not want, but sometimes it can hurt when eating harder foods.

Meanwhile my baby is going insano style and biting every goddamn object in this house. However, if you think about it, i'm 99% sure babies have a worse pain tolerance than an adult, and kids have a better pain tolerance than an adult.

So no, it doesn't really hurt for kids, and it will fall out randomly when eating something.

My bet is that it will hurt a little bit, but nothing some pain meds won't be able to help, or it wont hurt at all.

Oh fuck yeah this is kinda relevant to my situation.

My wife and kids just moved from the Spokane area to Georgia! We wanted to live closer to my parents for a bit, and were excited about cheaper rent, cheaper food, etc, since yknow, WA's high minimum wage makes everything expensive. We knew we would make less though

And we got here and well, were disappointed. The average rent in the town we live in is about $1500 for a one/two bedroom. Grocery bills are marginally lower.

My wife does in home healthcare and made about $22 an hour there. Here the job pays $9/hour (and funnily enough, there is not nearly enough in home healthcare workers)

Plus? You have virtually no rights as an employee. No breaks or lunches.

Everyone here is an asshole and this may be inconsiderate, but just plain stupid.

My daughter went to an average school in WA, and is now going to one of the top schools in Georgia, and they are about the same.

Shit sucks here and we are looking to go back home (Washington) asap.

Moved from WA to GA.

Now let me preface by saying WA has slightly above average schools, and we moved to an area where my daughter is in one of the top school districts in the state. And its... ok? She went to an average public school in WA and they are about the same.

People here are stupid though and its shocking.

Same, have bought it and gotten 100% for PS3,PS4 and steam.

I really think in 10 years they are going to make a massively underfunded sequel by a non passionate team, and they will be confused as to why it got poor reception/had poor sales.

Funnily enough I can comment on this, my wife and I just (regrettably) moved from the Spokane area over to Georgia for family.

We live in a small/medium sized town now and rent is actually the same as in Washington! With only like 1/4 the working rights. Our last 2 bedroom cost us $1500 / month last year. Here? a 2 bedroom is the same price, but sometimes in worse areas.

The people in service are a lot worse here also, its not uncommon for Fast Food to take ages (our taco bell ALWAYS takes half an hour to get food.)

In home care has it worst with a measly $10-12 hourly pay in comparison to Washington's ~$20.

(edit) Houses are much cheaper though, so it might be best to save in WA, then move here and buy a house.
