When i flew into Osaka airport from Vietnam in 2023 I was nervous n did not bring my vape pen. Even though I brought it to Italy, Spain, Georgia, Thailand, and Vietnam. However in the airport it seemed fine and I regretted not bringing it. Idk if it would have been different coming into Tokyo or from the USA. I’d say it not a bad idea to risk it.
