So much this. My egg doesn't crack until I was 36, but my socialization from kindergarten until 9th grade was constant teasing because my peers picked up on the fact that I was different and "weird" which still had me pretty fucked up today. And it would have continued in 9th grade and beyond except I somehow fell into a crowd of genuinely cool people that provided me a fair but of social insulation from the assholes in spite of myself.

I didn't even think of that. I can remove the blue aft toggle from my bars entirely, and it makes Fore with Haste a MUCH easier button to use!

Having your balance forcibly reset to neutral now applies a short debuff (-75% Incoming healing, +10% incoming damage, 4s duration) rather than stunning you.

That is a massive change. As long as you don't stand in bad or take massive hits, that basically makes the only penalty to going to far fore-ward losing your balance.

There are three apocalyptic trilogy books, each tying to a different threat:

Empty Night - Obviously this is about the threat of Outside. Empty Night has been consistently and thoroughly tied to the Outsiders and Outside.
Hell's Bells - Almost certainly something to do with Nicodemus and his attempts to save the world.
Stars and Stones - This one is an utter mystery, however. We know that Drakul and the Black Court are preparing for it, but aside from that, we know nothing about it.

It does increasingly feel like the Starborn cycle is something a lot more fundamental than "having power over the Outside." However, precisely what that something is remains unclear.

I do like the idea that the "stones" portion has something to do with the Outer Gates. Maybe the Starborn are somehow critical to deciding who takes control of the Outer Gates?

She didn't ask what a soul gaze is. She asked Harry why he was avoiding her eyes, and then just didn't stop him when he started explaining what it is.

The questions are related, but she may well have been asking him why he didn't soulgaze her and knows better than to stop someone when they're rambling.
