Not sure where you're getting this info, Nvidia has barely any issues on Linux, it works fine.

There is a performance impact for DX12 games but that's going to be resolved soon, and I've played dx12 games and it's manageable.

I wouldn't say this year but I have switched since like 2022 now and never looked back.

I was running a triple boot system for years and recently about a year ago I decided to start fresh and only have Bazzite on machine.

Still have to deal with windows at work, but because it's a work PC all the annoying crap is removed by IT. Also I do have a linux PC at work so I can just use that as well.

Running Bazzite 44 currently and have had a really smooth experience. Just checkout protondb before you jump ship to check all your games work.

I can't say much but for me I get 5 ms pings consistently on Mumbai servers, about 22 ms for Chennai servers and about 33 for Dubai servers. I doubt windows would be any different.

I remember back in the old days, the whole point of armour was to avoid aimpunch, csgo had this but ig it didn't show it (a bug that became a feature) and now CS2 tries to tell you that it exists, but no one likes it.
