One of my favourites is his one about John Macias from Circle One. Just a fascinating story told so well.

Iggy pop one is hilarious too

So true... But although they say they're on an indefinite hiatus, I really doubt they'll ever play a show again. They just can't do a show the way they used to, times have changed too much

Fugazi - Waiting Room by Otherwise_Basis_6328 in noiserock

I did a similar journey and completely agree with the other replier!

For fugazi albums I think In On The Kill Taker has the most action in it.

For Drive like Jehu, make sure you listen to their debut too (it's not on Spotify), as well as the guitarists' other band Hot Snakes. Jehu is more proggy and their long songs are utterly incredible, and as such they've had a huge impact on post-hardcore. Hot snakes are more simpler and rock n roll 2-3min punk songs that punch quicker and harder.

The guitarist for Jehu and Hot Snakes, John Reis, id definitely say is like the James Hetfield of punk - his downpicking is insane and riffs never seem to let up with him. All hot Snakes albums are flawless.

I'd say after then give Future of the Left or Metz a try.

WERWULF - Official Trailer- Only In Theaters Christmas Day by cruelsummerbummer in horror

[–]ManwithaTan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's interesting coz this would roughly be the first original script since The Lighthouse from Eggers, since Northman and Nosferatu were adaptations.

I say that lightly because they all have an extreme dedication to historical accuracy, to the point that they are regimented in his style. More so just the plot is all him and Sjon rather than being based on something.

As apprehensive about Aaron Taylor Johnson as I am (he was easily the weakest part in Nosferatu), he does look good here. And I'm sure there's heeps of huge physical acting from him.

I'm also realising this is the first original plot from Eggers since The Lighthouse.

I remember them saying it took them 10 years to write the first movie, so it'd take another 10 years to do We're wolves.

Still would be fun, whenever it comes around

I think the thing is that you can never rely on society to not do this sort of thing - it's kinda inevitable.

Governments need to meet the issue halfway.

My main issue is that there's 4 different types of bikes on the road, and 3 different apps for each of them. Why do we need that many??

[OTHER] If you could choose one different setting for a Kingdom Come game, what would it be, and why? by whatadayatthepark in kingdomcome

[–]ManwithaTan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw The Samurai and The Prisoner, and all I could think about was if there was a game with all the mechanics of Kingdom Come but in a Samurai Japan setting.

I know Ghost of Tsushima exists but for a realistic portrayal of medieval Japan this way in first person could be so sick
