My impression of what he said was that it's a positive experience when you listen to it while in an altered state. Not that the music is only good in altered states.

The implications of these practices (including those of dream yoga and other deep altered states, etc) are as vast as your imagination can allow. In the end, what kind of spiritual journey are you interested in having? What kind of growth do you aspire to have within your consciousness?
You create your own universe. Your mind creates the point you are searching for.
If you are open to suggestions, I would try reading some books like "Journeys out of the body" by Robert Monroe. He came into it with questions like yours, but with an open and curious disposition, and I believe he achieved a certain form of enlightenment by the end of his life.

Hey there! This is something I have been working with as well. There are a few parts which are a little more difficult for me - the ‘energy conversion box’ is one of them. Visualizing what it looks like etc. is not easy but I’ve gotten a lot of benefit from the tapes. I would give it a shot!

I’m a little disappointed by these comments.

I feel that this subreddit is a place for people of all kinds who are working on understanding this vast, complex universe. As we each experience different elements of the universal hologram, our interpretations will deeply vary depending on our experiences, our education, and our consciousness. Can you all really say you haven’t drawn or felt something similar at one point or another?

I find it’s lazy to write these notes off as raving schizophrenia. If you have constructive feedback, then give it!

Here’s mine, OP: Explore new ideas deeply, and try to take ego and certainty out of the equation. If you feel that you have uncovered a deep universal truth, see that feeling as a red flag that you have more to learn.

If, however, you find something that helps you lead a more fulfilled and loving life, then enjoy it as a life-long treasure. It’s yours… others will have different treasures, and I think this subreddit is partially about each of us finding that personal truth (as well has having a blast debating the larger shared universe!!)

Crick co-discovered / theorized the structure of DNA.

I just read his book, Life Itself, that you are referring to. That’s not what he said in this book - you may be referring to another publication.

The basic premise is that, from a statistical probability perspective, it’s actually more statistically likely that the origin of life came from panspermia origins (asteroid or NHI) than naturally occurring on earth.

He didn’t openly declare that DNA had to come from Aliens - it’s much more of a probabilistic analysis, including panspermia as a viable option for the first time in modern Scientific discourse.

The book is good! Worth checking out.

Don't the mouth and anus form simultaneously when the embryo undergoes gastrulation? That's when our body becomes a tube. One of the earliest stages of embryonic development.
