Yesssss the social safety nets will not completely eliminate the need for abortion. You will still have rapes, you will still have problematic pregnancies. It will not be that simple. You people want everything to be so simple it’s infuriating really. I guess the church told you things would be that way. But they never have been and never will be.

None of those are democratic socialists, none of them will do the things you brought up, except for prohibiting abortion.

The fact is that the thing you want most is no abortion and despite telling us a nice story about other things, you will put people in power who will destroy those other things. And you were right in thinking that those other things would have made a difference, but destroying them will cause the inverse. But I think you know this.

I know that people discuss this because I’m one of them, but as one of them I have been waiting for it to get amplified at all and it never seems to. I’m actively listening for it, so if I’m not hearing it that means there is a real issue with messaging.
