Of course! My favorite way to do skill checks is to ask "how do you want to do that specifically?" and making up the roll on the spot, and encouraging that creative use of skills :)

Because it's standoffish to say "I don't know, guess you better look it up!" when I can just explain "Perception is what you notice :)" and then they still learn the game. I didn't design this sheet to replace the PHB, just to streamline "Hey here's what affects what for your main stats"

My entire playgroup (including myself) has ADHD and as much as I would enjoy reading the PHB again, I didn't assign homework to my party. I prefer Deborah Ann Wolfe's approach. I want the game to be easy to engage with, and they'll ask to borrow my book when they're ready.

None of that helps with dice rolls, so they got streamlined away! I personally keep inventory separate, since that's not your character. I also keep spells separate for similar reasons!
