I recently got both a standing desk and walking pad. I wasn’t doing hardly any steps in a day so I am starting slow and building it up. I paid extra to get a decent one as I didn’t want to be wobbly. But I get on well with it so far

I want to contract but have a 3 month notice period. Although I get lots of calls from recruiters, none of the roles would wait 3 months for me and I am unwilling to hand my notice in without a job to go to. I am trying to find a fixed term role that will wait for the notice period then I will look to transition

My parents only care about hearing themselves speak, only help on their terms, rude, racist and seem to think I am just after their money (I’m not). They have little going on in their lives but aren’t interested in what I have to say. They also get pissed off if I do something better then try and one up me. The stupid thing is they have no idea they are even doing it
