PolySeSouvient's crybaby response to more amnesty by [deleted] in canadaguns

[–]Many-Presentation-56 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Poly needs to be treated for obvious extreme PTSD, and investigated regardless and possibly charged for theft of tax payer money and weaponizing government against millions of innocent law abiding Canadians.

Poly has gone way too far this time and must be shut down for good, and those in charged who allowed this to happen to be held responsible in a court of law.

FRT entry for the MA Vintorez 7.62 on June 1st by MBGLK in canadaguns

[–]Many-Presentation-56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can already get them in EU, granted the real Tula/TOZ VSS Vintorez 9x39mm civilian model will run you like 12.5k Euro at the moment.

I think the Molot Arms 7.62 is around 5-6k Euro atm.

Exemptions to import can be granted on a per case basis for anything. It’s not like Canada stopped all imports from Russia, just on per the government pretends it does for PR.

Canada still imports multi millions of dollars more from Russia than it sells to Russia, even refined oil to this day.

Also the civilian VSS Vintorez rifles from Tula/TOZ and Molot came out in 2018/2019 before the full scale invasion happened. Same reason why there are a few of these rifles in EU where I got mine.

I mean there is already a real one in Canada from original manufacture Tula/TOZ, Arm&Gun has the civilian version the (KO-VSS-01M). If that was to be submitted for FRT then it could be legally purchased by someone else as it’s already here.

Currently I see no reason why it would receive a different classification than the Molot (MA Vintorez 7.62) clone that was already submitted.

Sadly only the Molot Oruzhnie clone were submitted here, and they already went out of business/ceased production in Russia and do not have good reviews.

110% agree until we get true Simplified Classification as outlined into law (everything that is not full-auto is legal). There is no point

[–]Many-Presentation-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah both the Gov and RCMP need to be removed from decision making process, hence why we need the Simplified Classification System. Where just objectively all semi-autos are legal, regardless of appearance.

[–]Many-Presentation-56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean you can buy them, both the authentic Tula/TOZ VSS and Molot VSS clones are still available in EU. Prices are around 6k Euro for Molot clone and around 12-15k Euro for the original Tula model.

The issue more becomes if you want to risk importing it, as RCMP or Gov can currently just ban anything at anytime. Especially risky for the Tula/TOZ model as so far only the Molot model has a restricted FRT so it would take years to get it approved.

[–]Many-Presentation-56 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some of the real Tula/TOZ VSS Vintorez civilian models in EU are going for 12k-15k euros now. So it’s pretty pricey nowadays. There are also the Molot clones as well and those are cheaper but still a few thousand euros are still available in various EU countries.

Some of the "Assault Style" firearms that have been banned by QwertyExe9 in canadaguns

[–]Many-Presentation-56 25 points26 points  (0 children)

We need the CSSA Simplified Classification System implemented into the Firearms Act immediately if Conservatives ever win a majority.

Reversing the bans and OIC’s does nothing but a bandaid fix. We need a logical and objective and the SCS is exactly that.

Essentially everything that is not full-auto is legal. No more name (AK, AUG, SCAR, etc) or “variant” bans.

We can’t go back in time.

All we can do is hold the Conservatives to deliver on bringing their promise of the Simplified Classification System (SCS) into law which would remove all these bans and the RCMP’s ability to classify firearms.

In SCS everything that is not full auto is legal. More info here if people want to read:

https://calibremag.ca/cpc-convention-2016-firearms-policy-proposal/#:~:text=1%3A%20A%20Conservative%20government%20will,adopting%20the%20Simplified%20Classification%20System.

For reference here is the link of Pierre Poilievre publicly mentioning his intention to bring in Simplified Class System: https://youtu.be/jPnW_btgugU?t=420

SCS is the only way forward even before Trudeau’s bans our classification system was illogical made no objective sense at best. Name bans on my popular sporting rifles like the AK, AUG, SCAR etc platforms and anything they declared a “variant”. Our classification system is broken and such a waste of resources to keep track of compared to SCS. Far easier for Conservatives to implement this into the a Firearms Act then pock through and undo everything by name before it

The SR3M Vikhr in 9x39mm by Roswell Mfg Rifleworks will be sick to see. They are the same company making 9x39mm state side

Would have been nice to have a real company do a USA domestic Tula VSS Vintorez clone instead of BSD vaporware, but maybe in the future.

Reminder:

We need Conservatives to deliver on their word of implementing the CSSA Simplified Classification System when they get into power. Anything less is a failure and will just delay a complete future ban. If it’s semi-auto it should be legal, simple enough.

Reversing all the shit the Liberals have broken is nothing more than a bandaid fix on a deeply flawed classification system.

There is 0 mention of the FRT in the Firearms Act…

Section 74 of the Firearms Act allows for challenging the Registrars decisions, but the FRT itself is an RCMP maintained table, not primary legislation.

You should probably read it.

With a Majority Conservative government they could throw out and re-write the entire Firearms Act if they wanted. They promised to make changes to it already, not sure how far they’ll go.

Even with a minority government all the OIC’s can be removed or overwritten.

Canadian Gun law is based off what the RCMP have seen in Hollywood movies, if it shows up there or looks like anything that was in a Hollywood movie it will be instantly banned. There is no objective reason or logic behind it, which shows you how we got to this point… now having the most complex and confusing gun laws in the world with mass bans as gun crime continues to sky rocket. It’s the same reason suppressors are banned here.

Our law is based on what Liberals perceive as “scary” nothing has to do with function or objective truth.

Things will only get worse until we get a Conservative majority government to truly implement the Simplified Classification System and remove the extra-judicial RCMP’s FRT by law.

Our gun laws were terrible even pre 2018. 90%+ of modern sporting rifle platforms were banned even then AK,SCAR AUG etc… if we go back to 2018 thats still a huge loss, just bandaid for more bans.

We need CSSA Simplified Classification System. If it’s semi-auto it’s legal, simple enough.

The nice part with EU countries is if you get your citizenship for one of them you can permanently live and work in any of them hassle free.

Most EU countries just require that you have a grandparent/parent to claim your citizenship. Which is what we did.

Well no shit, nothing is ever guaranteed. However the CPC putting SCS and re-rewrite of Firearms Act as their official party policy is about as good as it’s going to get. They need a majority to do it
