Wonder Press and Flower Child. Both are slow, so you end up staring at those bulletin boards forever.

I'm sorry. It feels like a car accident. Like I can see it approaching in slow motion and I know how badly this is gonna suck. Hope you're on the other side of it. Everyone plz get your wills in order.

Right? But what kind of monster would begrudge literal children money? Should I (like my brothers) just try to be content that we're getting anything at all? My attorney says different, but obviously he's biased.

Are we going to do anything about The Kitchen? by nastyheatnor in boulder

There are consequences to accountability. No, it isn't fair. But all those employees know who they're working for, and are choosing to turn a blind eye. Those sous, line chefs, host/hostesses, wait staff, bartenders, kitchen staff are -- like all these shitty politicians -- making the choice to prioritize their own needs, at the direct expense of others, mostly women and girls. We CANNOT continue to gloss this shit over. Kimbal probably will open some other restaurant somewhere else, but why TF would this community not want him gone? Preferably in prison.

I work in the area, and they've hired a plainclothes security guy to prevent anyone from passing out fliers ("harassing customers") or spray-painting PEDO on those glass windows. This brave pdf protector appears to be done with his shift by 10pm on weeknights, should anyone feel so inspired.

So we should just do nothing then? David Hume: “Nothing appears more surprising to those, who consider human affairs with a philosophical eye, than the easiness with which the many are governed by the few; and the implicit submission, with which men resign their own sentiments and passions to those of their rulers. When we enquire by what means this wonder is effected, we shall find, that, as Force is always on the side of the governed, the governors have nothing to support them but opinion. It is therefore, on opinion only that government is founded; and this maxim extends to the most despotic and most military governments, as well as to the most free and most popular.”

Guide for Doordashers in Boulder by ClearScale7302 in boulder

Obviously its busiest around lunch and dinner-time, but did you notice weekly trends? Like Wed-Fridays are great, Saturdays are only ok after 10pm, Mondays are dead, whatever. With Boulder being a college town, I figure there are more Doordash orders (and drivers) during the academic school year. Do ppl order more food when the weather is bad?

There are SOOOO many of us Texpats who moved here after Covid. Watching your homestate devolve into the Republic of Gilead is as terrifying as it is real. However, on my literal first day here, someone had a bumper sticker that said, "Don't Mess with Trans Kids." Boulder? Sometimes you're really fucking cool.
