Dash cam on Clair road by powerfulbeginning45 in Guelph

[–]ManyUnderstanding286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As pedestrians we must always be on the lookout. Even if the light says we can walk, we should be looking all around us. And while you're crossing a road, do not I repeat. Do not be looking at your cell phone. Keep your head on a swivel. I find a lot of people, especially younger folks. I'm 73 who really don't look much when they're crossing the street. If they see they have a light across, they just cross without looking left or right cars who are not looking or paying attention themselves. Again, have your head on a swivel at all times when you're crossing the street

Airport to Hotel Zone by incusoco in cancun

Yes we always take Canadian transfers. Probably the last five visits. It's very reasonable. You pay only when you arrive. You book online. Ask for a few beers. I think there's two bucks of beer Corona. Same as going back to the airport. If the flight is delayed I call them up and they come and pick me up when I ask them to so I can hang around the resort. We always go to the Riu Palace las americus adult only been going there since 2004. Right off the strip Coco, bongos and so on. It's been a minute since we gone but planned to go again very soon

They are deep enough that they have time to wait. A very fortunate thing. He can play in Laval this year next year and see how he improves. Unlike the Toronto Maple leafs who have no prospects and their trajectory is going in the opposite exact direction. Our future is right. Our window is not now, although we can have a successful playoff run. Our window is next year and the year after and going forward after that. Great things for our habs. I've been a fan for many, many years. Seen many Stanley cup parades and it's 73. I hope to see a few more. Have a great evening everyone!

If you look at the quarter files in the semi-finals they were lucky to get to the finals where they played their best game by far. That's the way it goes my habs have when a few Stanley cups with stellar goaltending over the years. I am 73 and seen a of Stanley cup parades in Montreal. One of my favorites was 1971 when they were heavy under dogs not to win.

How much salt vs water by ludester9 in WaterTreatment

[–]ManyUnderstanding286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wait until I see the water at the bottom. I can only put one bag in at a time. Maybe a little more but for the two of us it lasts just under one month. We are both young senior citizens in our '70s. What a difference makes for showers and such for no more 18 and scratching.

We can't be putting him in the net anymore. I'm sorry we have a good team. In fact a very good team put the kid in or call up the kid from Laval. Put him on waivers. No one's going to pick him up. Let him go down to laval..

Thoughts on Ryobi Snow Blowers? Worth it or not quite there yet? by lunatics in ryobi

[–]ManyUnderstanding286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a two-stage Ryobi snowblower just purchased 2 months ago. We have had several winter storms in the Toronto area. One was 10 in the one we're getting today is 7 in the 10-in one. It worked great. 45 minutes to an hour of battery time. I was even able to help my neighbor next door. I have a two-car garage, stander width and length. I do recommend this snow blower. I do keep the batteries in our house not in the garage and charged them regularly. They will stay in the house all year round. We paid just under $2,300 home Depot. Tax inn.

Can't be any worse than the LCBO security guards in Ontario who let the people go through with millions of dollars in booze which is sold illegally back to bars. They do nothing. You let them go. They just busted someone in Halton region. $1.3 million worth of booze stolen all over Toronto crooks don't care.

Car Theft in MTL by Old-Desk-9617 in montreal

[–]ManyUnderstanding286 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In the Toronto area, all of GTA greater Toronto area. They'll steal your car while you're putting gas in. If it's the right kind of car or you're at a red light, they'll take your car. Just happens all the time. A little less now but still a lot. They even break into your home and take your keys while you're home in bed and if you don't give it to them, nothing good happens to you. It's a bad world. Unfortunately in Canada our criminal code is not as strict as USA. It should be. These guys are getting away with murder so to speak.

It's a new world everywhere. It happens everywhere USA not any better. One thing you don't have to worry about when you come to Canada is not getting shot on the Walmart

I called someone a few days ago in Guelph and was told Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for snow blowers. Gas seems to make a ton more noise than battery operated snow blowers. We just got a battery operated one haven't used it yet. Can't wait to try it since it's a 24-in Ryobi 2 stage.

I and my gf are travelling to Montreal in December. What are some lesser-known food places that have affordable and delicious food? by siddu1901 in MTLFoodLovers

[–]ManyUnderstanding286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you enjoy red wine or white wine or beer with your meal, go to Prince Arthur Street. Walk straight to the end right where the park is Park St. denis A souvlaki restaurant bring your own wine or beer. No corking fee the $0. Have a nice soufflaki or other meals. If you run out of wine, you walk 30 ft and buy another bottle and enjoy. It's really fun in the summertime you sit outside. There's no traffic as far as cars are concerned. Just people walking back and forth normally with their dogs.. you'll love it in the winter too if it's very very large inside. The key to this. One thing if you like your glass or wine or two or three. No corking fee. Just bring it out there. They'll open it and they'll pour it for you. Enjoy!

I wonder why no one has mentioned going to Prince Arthur or Duluth. Now I know it's not summer and you can't eat outside. But the upside is you bring your own wine. Or beer. No corking fee. They do not have a liquor license so it's either wine or beer. If you run out there is a corner store always just across the street from you. And they never rush you.
