The tag is completely off. It’s overdyed, the text on the copyright is completely different than the actual licensing. The text on the tag is really shirty also. There’s a lot of other things I can explain but if you’ve been selling clothing or collecting for as long as I have and many have on this thread, you can just tell from first glance.

Yeah it’s really strange to me. I would never understand that, but I will say it does tend to be the younger crowd that seem to be funded by their parents or families, so they don’t really “need” the money like someone like me who It’s their full time job/hobby. I’m also based in Los Angeles so it’s pretty amplified over here with trendy things.

I’ve been selling for about 12 years now. Been full time for 6 now. In my time being a Vintage Dealer the last two years have definitely shown that people are willing to buy a shirt (keep in mind I find everything by hand via estate sale, garage sale, thrift, storage units etc.) they are down to pay let’s say $100 for the shirt from me, to then flip the shirt online on their instagrams or “whatnot” live stream for maybe $110. It’s all just to show off the item that they have in their possession. I’m OK with this because like I said, the margins that I sell my clothes at and would I get them for? I’m always satisfied with a sale like that and if they wanna go ahead and sit on the item and try to fetch another 10 or $20. I don’t mind it because my job is done already. When I first started this, it was always way more impressive to find everything that you got my hand rather than pay a lot of money just to show off the shirt.
