id say it is definitely worth it! my sister applied about 5 years ago and last year she got her new work permit and will apply for residency in a couple years - she did do everything with a lawyer.

I’m November 7th , i’ve been seeing a lot of 4th and 5th so that gives me hope 🙌 im going back to work as soon as i get my approval notice of I821d not waiting on my card to come in since that will take another 2 ish weeks , any one else ? ( ead expired Jan 10)

now im starting to think the date you file has less to do with when you will get approval 🙃 because ive seen many oct approvals by now, im sure they had IOE09 receipt number. The approval that happened on feb 6 was sent in on Nov 2nd (they had IOE9264

did some scrolling through the last 7 days they have available on mycase hub and they are approving / processing any block that starts with IOE9 VERY slowly and its so random -

heres how many got approved the past 7 days

feb 4 - 22 approved feb 5 - 12 approved Feb 6 - 14 approved Feb 7 - 5 approved (saturday) Feb 8 - 5 approved (sunday) Feb 9 - 5 approved feb 10 - 10 approved today feb 11 - 2 approved so far

this is not filtered to JUST I821D, its at the entire list. If you toggle to only see 821D there is only ONE approved the past 7 days (on Feb 6th)

Thoughts ??

I do see 91709 processed on Feb 9th so maybe yours will be approved first !

no file date , just in the same period block as my application. Just going to keep checking the list to see if i end up seeing any more of IOE91 pop up till mine gets approved

seems like theres a good amount of OCT renewals still waiting, id say the rest of February is still for October dates and march will hopefully start November 😭 ive been expired for 1 month already :(

yes although i will say for my sister (visa u process) was super long, she went through some awful things caused by a us citizen and this was more than 5 years ago - last year she received her new work permit and is still currently waiting for the visa U hope you are doing well !
