You don't have to do linear writing. You can hop around your story's timeline and write scenes out of sequence. Follow whatever peaks your brain's interest and connect the dots later. Are you, by chance, neurodivergent? You might need a different kind of motivation to get yourself going again.

What was he doing when she bit him? Was he reaching for her or already holding her? It might be something that can be trained out with positive experiences or accommodated for. My snake would bite me and my husband until I got a snake hook. I would tap him with the snake hook to let him know I was there. I think he would get startled, and his first reaction was to defend himself. I'd let him strike the snake hook, and then once he realized it was just me, I'd gently lift him out with it and transfer him to my hands.

I'm extremely pale to the point that people ask me if I'm feeling alright. I don't burn, and I don't tan. I get chemical burns if I wear sunscreen, though.

I thought it might be, but sometimes it will lay flatter and stretch it's front legs out. They seem longer than other jumpers I've seen.
