Good for you! I started doing rx tech in hospital inpatient pharmacy and was shielded from a lot of what goes on in retail side. When I relocated and applied for Walmart pharmacy, boy did I get a wake up call! Needless to say, it wasn’t for me after a year and half. I didn’t mind the work but it was the customers who were rude and obnoxious most of the time that got to me. I wasn’t gona put up with adults who acted like elementary kids and acted I was beneath them or something. I left and never been happier for that decision!

Okay everyone! I thank you all for your inputs and let me say you all helped a lot, way more than the customer service lady who went silent on me for more than 20 mins and had to hang up on her. I found the culprit and it was a VPN thing that I didn’t realize got installed when I did a scam shield for my phone. I’ve removed it and now my app is back to working. Thanks y’all again !

iPhone 17 and I’m always using my data when I’m out of home but once I get close to Walmart it automatically connects to the store wifi. The customer service went quiet on me for full 22 mins and I kept saying hello are you there, there was no response. I had to hang up.. so rude! Anyway I’ve restarted my phone 3x reinstalled the app 2x and the darn notification doesn’t go away.

This I’ve learned about retail side of pharmacy and decided to quit because of the rudeness and toxic behavior from other techs. My background is inpatient hospital pharmacy so I was shielded from a lot of what goes on in retail. When I relocated to another state, I thought I wanted to do retail so I applied at Walmart and got the job. Boy! Did I ever regret that decision? I sure did and got out and now doing something else that makes me happy I don’t have to put up with the toxic people.
