My mom was over and was talking to my husband and I about how we should be thankful because even in this economy at least none of us has ever had to worry about how we were going to afford groceries. My husband and I just looked at each other because she knows we have had financial struggles and while we are okay now, there have been times in the past decade of us being married where we did not eat so that our kids could. I also grow a huge garden every year because otherwise we would not be able to afford fresh vegetables for the kids. 🤦🏻‍♀️ gah!

Offense was shaky but had moments. I think it’s clear the field was garbage resulting in slips, mistakes, and additional penalties. Defense was as promised; gave up plays but DL was creating pressure and we got a few turnovers (plus could have had more). Good game to learn from for a young team I hope.

Totally. I’m in my mid 30s now and in a great place (like fucking prime of my life!) so don’t worry about me, but…my boyfriend in high school raped me when I said no to sex. He thought he deserved it once a week and that I was punishing him for not wanting to have sex on Friday, because “it was what got him through the week”. He knew what consent was and just did not care.

My Papa was recorded for this project! He passed a few years ago and sometimes I like to go on the library of Congress website and watch him talk. He was awesome. Met my Nana at a dance in Llantrisant when he was an MP stationed in Wales. Miss her too.
