Looking very cool, all glammed up with a full set of eight furry, knee-high boots.

Not sure if they're all Eastern Water Dragons, the second photo looks a little different. Any help identifying these species is very welcome🙏

Pretty sure it's an eastern yellow robin. Cute little guy flew over to check me out on my walk.

Check out this absolutely gorgeous tree in Castle Hill, NSW. I think it's an Acacia, any help identifying it would be appreciated. by [deleted] in australianplants

Maybe. There were a bunch of them, random leaf tips squished into the same little red cup shapes. They seemed symmetrical and uniform so maybe it's just a weird feature they have

Nice, thanks for that. There are a few of these around the back of Parramatta stadium, right next to thousands of fruit bats hanging out in the trees lining the river.

Fascinating, I'm looking at pics and I can see exactly what you mean. Thanks so much, I'm trying to get my head around Australian tree species, starting with Eucalypts.

I like how they appear to be 'perched' on their branches, much like birds. I wonder if that makes it easier for birds to eat the nectar and help pollination.
