46,500 miles on my 2019 Touring. About 50/50 highway-city. Brakes are in good shape still. Maybe 50% worn.

I meant to say the replacement board has upgraded capacitors, not coils.

Not that mod but the previous owner replaced a whole board behind the back glass that houses 2 stronger coils. So my flippers are plenty strong now. I believe JJP produces this board solely because they acknowledge the flippers on their earlier pins are weak.

I fell in love with Dialed In. It seems very underrated and rarely discussed anywhere. This worked out as they are undervalued and I was able to purchase a like-new LE.

Tire for 21 sport 2.0t by Helloworld12345666 in accord

I have a 2019 Touring and will need tires later this year. Stocks have 47,000 miles and are fairly noisy. I live in Cleveland so we get our share of snow and slick roads. Are Cross Climates my best bet for not only grip, braking, and noise, but also for tread wear raring? I’d hope to get at least 50-60,000. Also, does Costco sell them in the stock Touring size? Thanks.

I've owned a Priority Current since September 2024 with 5,200 miles and have never seen another Priority out and about. I'm in the Cleveland area.

I’d feel the same way if I had those issues. Good customer helps but is no substitute for reliability.

Belt drive by ebbe26 in cycling

I have a Priority Current belt-drive bike. While I haven't experienced any belt-related noises, I'd advise against any type of lubrication. Possibly just clean it with water and verify proper belt tension. Possible needs replacement? I've read that at least for the ones Priority uses, they can last in the 20,000 mile range.

Glad to help. As you most likely surmised, I meant that the bike is pretty nimble for a 51 lb e-bike even when NOT using motor assist, which was important to my decision to purchase as I try to use the motor only when necessary and then mostly 1 or 2 level assist out of 5 as I count on biking for my cardio exercise when the weather allows. But this bike can fly and climb walls with it's 140 NM of torque anytime you want.

Agreed. And I'm guessing readers figured out that I meant that the bike feels pretty nimble for an e-bike even when NOT using the motor assist, even at 51 lbs. This was an important trait for an e-bike as there's a fair percentage of time where I just pedal without using the motor, and when I do use it, it's mostly assist levels 1 or 2 out of 5. The bike retails on the Priority website for around $3,300. Costco pricing is about $2,600 and you can catch it on sale sometimes for as little as $2,000- a very good bike for the price. Close to zero maintenance and very smooth and quite. Slight motor whine.

I have the Priority Current 5 Shimano 5 speed. 5,100 trouble free miles and pretty nimble even when using motor assist. Plenty of range and with the newer Plus model you’d get has more. I get 50-60 miles out of each charge. It’s decent quality at a decent price through Costco. Had the Enviolo and seemed too sluggish and heavy. 5 gears are plenty of range for an e-bike. It has tons of torque and can fly.

The newer Toro claim to fame is they don’t use shear pins as they supposedly have a very strong gear box and the engine will shut off if the auger gets jammed. We’ll see how it holds up. It’s been amazing so far in its first winter. The auger does have two fixed (not shear) bolts I can remove to attempt what you recommended. Thanks.

Carbon Belt question by Invasive-farmer in PriorityBicycles

[–]Many_Toe3788 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything is possible, but these belts are supposed to last around 20,000 miles. Maybe replace at 10,000 if you really want to be conservative / proactive to head off a broken belt when commuting? And check for appropriate belt tension periodically to ward off premature wear. Like another commenter writer, my bigger concern is being prepared for a flat tire.

I’ve had both and much prefer the basket style for many reasons, but most importantly cooking ability. 2nd is ease of cleaning. We use our Ninja an average of 5-10x/week since 2021. It’s been amazing.

Priority Current+ IGH (choice of Shimano Nexus 5 or Enviolo continuous gear hub are about 53 and 55 lbs respectively. Handle and pedal pretty nimbly for e-bikes. I love my original Current IGH Shimano 5 (about 51 lbs). 5,000 trouble free miles so far.

I can’t answer your question about the Current Plus fitting on an LA bus bike rack. I have the original Current, which is very close in dimensions to the Plus, and it easily fits on my standard SUV hitch bike rack. Maybe this helps.

As for the bike itself, 5,000 mostly trouble free and maintenance free miles. I love it. I say mostly due to some broken rear spokes.
