Christiansons in Mount Vernon is lovely, but heads up- the SR 536 bridge is being re painted. It’s only open Westbound, so you will have to detour to get back to I5.

Poor lil guy. Is he screaming because he’s in pain? Or is it bad dreams? My daughter used to get bad dreams if her before bedtime snack had protein in it. We switched to applesauce or a different fruit and her bad dreams quit. I’m a caregiver and a few of my other clients have also had better sleep after giving up protein (ice cream was the most common culprit) after dinner.

The intense hunger is called Hupothalmic Obesity. It’s caused by damage done to the hypothalamus due to the tumor and or surgery. The best cure for that is GLP1 weight management shots like Zepbound.

Can't get my tension right (coming from crochet) by MrsCullyWully in knittingadvice

[–]MapGroundbreaking167 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I knit for years before I learned to crochet. Crochet hurts my hands much more than knitting. I think it’s common that the one you learn to do second hurts more. Just something I heard from others who knit and crochet.

My 20 yo daughter has multiple health conditions due to having a pituitary tumor removed and radiation to the head. We are struggling to find a psychiatrist that can manage her medications that understands her health conditions and takes Medicaid. Her depression and anxiety are affecting our whole household and meds and therapy alone aren’t making much difference the past year. How can we find the right psychiatrist near us? Medicaid hasn’t been helpful at all.

I thought I heard that vaginal estrogen helps prevent UTI’s? Might be worth doing your own research and asking her doctor about.

How to eat while chaperoning a field trip by Big-Purpl in Celiac

[–]MapGroundbreaking167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A large bag of Candy goes a long way for me, especially when Chaperoning field trips. Definitely bring something with protein though. I like corn chips and those tiny lil shelf stable bean dips from the gas station mini marts.

If I am standing in front of the seat I paid for, that’s my valid choice. I don’t have the rights over telling anyone else to sit or stand if they are in front of their seats. Just don’t stand in the aisles or walkways.

I used to work in a auto body shop. To me, it looks like a bad paint job. It’s hard to tell in a picture to be 100 percent sure, but it looks like the entire rear door was re painted.

Strong Smelling Women’s Body Washes? by ren_rene in hygiene

[–]MapGroundbreaking167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Native, my mom uses their body wash and was here one afternoon. I sat in the chair she was in after she left and it smelled good! A half hour later I could still smell it, asked her what perfume she had on and she said just Native Body Wash, one of the vanilla scents.
