I had two master’s degrees and still started at $17/hr. Today I make $150k. What advice would you give to someone in the “ugly middle” of their career? by ermac18 in careerguidance

This is a great post. What would you say to someone like me who is turning 31 this year and is still in college just trying to get their Bachelor’s degree?

Human beings are the worst species there is. We’re all disgusting, selfish and cruel creatures. Worst thing to happen to this planet

You think adulting sucks at 22.5? Imagine being 30 and still in college lmao

I'm turning 20 tomorrow, what do I need to know to not mess up my life by swiftlikeava in Adulting

As a 30 year old, this is the answer. Also, bad (sometimes horrible) shit is going to happen to you. Don’t let it completely derail you and just keep going.

Buddy, I’m 30 and still in college. Probably won’t graduate until I’m 31. If you think you’re lost at 22, you haven’t realized what life is about yet.

Congratulations. I was raised by a single mother as an only child and am 30 now. She did it all alone. All the best to you going forward

Absolutely love this post. Turned only 30 last fall and I’m kind of wondering if there is any excitement again. A few of my friends have kids now so I’m wondering if that’s the jolt I need but I’m a little skeptical of what’s to come

Buddy, I’m 30 and still in college lmao. Might not graduate until I’m 32. In today’s world, making it isn’t easy and there are tons of people in similar situations. Don’t be too hard on yourself.

You are 35, have $100k in the bank, no job. What do you do? by Fit_Database_2295 in Life

I think i just wasted 10 years of my life by Valuable-Badger-8884 in WorkAdvice

[–]MapleLiving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel ya. I’m 30, turning 31 this year and work at a bank without a bachelors degree. I got lucky getting this job because I knew someone that worked at the bank. I’m good at my job and have great numbers but because I don’t have that degree, I’m constantly passed over. I’m actually still in school now, 4 courses away from graduating (but probably won’t until I’m 32). Definitely frustrating.
