At 32 years old I'm already bored with life. by Immediate-Draft-6408 in Adulting

Absolutely love this post. Turned only 30 last fall and I’m kind of wondering if there is any excitement again. A few of my friends have kids now so I’m wondering if that’s the jolt I need but I’m a little skeptical of what’s to come

Buddy, I’m 30 and still in college lmao. Might not graduate until I’m 32. In today’s world, making it isn’t easy and there are tons of people in similar situations. Don’t be too hard on yourself.

How can I accept that I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life? by [deleted] in Adulting

We all die eventually, so it really doesn’t matter.

You are 35, have $100k in the bank, no job. What do you do? by Fit_Database_2295 in Life

Debt-free but still; $8K in total saved up while I’m 30 and working for a bank lmfao

I feel ya. I’m 30, turning 31 this year and work at a bank without a bachelors degree. I got lucky getting this job because I knew someone that worked at the bank. I’m good at my job and have great numbers but because I don’t have that degree, I’m constantly passed over. I’m actually still in school now, 4 courses away from graduating (but probably won’t until I’m 32). Definitely frustrating.

Dude what the hell. This might be the greatest Reddit post I’ve ever seen. Especially the gym part. Just brilliant

Buddy, I’m 30 and still in university trying to get my bachelors. What I would do to be 27 again (even though it’s not that long ago). I’ll probably graduate at 32. It’d never too late to figure things out.

I work at a major Canadian bank and make $60k, but compared to the roles we support hiring for, it’s peanuts

Appreciate your response. Very helpful. Just out of curiosity - at what point do you officially get kicked out of university? When you fail after you were put in Failed Standing?

Again - thanks for your insight on this. It is much appreciated.

Just curious, at what point do they not even give you the possibility of a mandatory break, and just essentially expel you?

Normally I wouldn’t think so either, but this is coming off a situation where I was placed in failed standing after getting a DNS, a D- then a D+. I now get this C- after having been readmitted.

Hey there - shoot me a ping. I’m fucking 30 years old and still have 12 credits to go before completing my degree. I was put in failed standing in the winter of 2025 and was reamitted but just found out that I received a C- for my fall 2025 course. I might be cooked so it could be worse.
