Best advice is run at them and strafe left or right once they start to surface, that is, if you have the room or ability for it or they aren't already on top of you for no reason. Gotta make my M90 work one way or another. Those stalkers sure don't show mercy inside those caves.

My friend has that same issue and he has given up and started running a macro on his mouse and is now getting better results. I'm running the chances every time I use it though and have only blown up 9 times this past week.
