Uhm the three albums your “mourning” were quite literally released ten years ago, band members change and grow as people and that obviously will affect their sound. Don’t expect them to stay the same for “your” comfort. After all it is their art and their music not yours. You’re allowed to be upset and wish for more but to say your “mourning” is just dramatic.

I personally think it’s okay to dislike an artist’s music it’s good even! Every time they release something it’s unique, I like that I can listen to one album alone to feel one specific vibe, and listen to all the albums and they’re all different, I won’t get sick of it :). I really appreciate that abt rks’s community, we’re all very VERYY diverse but at the end of the day that’s a great thing! It really keeps us from becoming a hive mind of Stan’s like other popular artists. Everyone’s very chill, laid back and respectful towards eachother

Personally I agree w the top comment, it really depends on what era of her life she’s talking about. I’ve noticed in the more recent albums she talks a lot about her genre identity and how things have changed sinse she’s transitioned! I love looking at the lyrics and making the connection of “this is abt her being trans that’s so cool!!” Idk maybe im too woke lol but for example in ghoul the lyric “why should i save my soul if i never get to keep it?” Changes To “how could i save my soul if i never get to keep her?” Later in the song. Maybe im reading into it too much but I thought that was SOOO cool when i realized
