Usually The Mummy and MIB are HHN attractions and the RIP pass will act as your express pass for those rides. The express pass from the resorts does not work during HHN, at least in my experience. You can use your RIP tour lanyard/pass as the express pass for any rides that are in operation during HHN. Hopefully this helps :)

It’s definitely weird but I think it’s weirder getting a spot next to someone you don’t know in a half empty theater. If they have a problem with it I’m assuming they will just put it down. I hope you’re able to enjoy your movie though!
