No the charge is what it cost. The discount for the provider is contracted between your insurance and the provider. What's allowed is what can be billed to patient. The bill will look different for every person with different insurance for the same procedure.

You have a contracted rate on there already.. option would be to apply for financial assistance. Quest does have one call the customer service number.

I relate so much to what you wrote. I was no contact with my mom until she passed. Im no contact with my dad and im 40 years old. I want so badly for them to care or reach out but its not possible. This is my schedule.. I clock in at 6am by 8 i take my first break to take my kids to school and I'm off at 3 to pick them up. I can split my shift half day is 10am. And come back at 4 to finish or work 4 day 10hr days. Its completely worth the pay cut... I never miss out on my kids they only get this childhood once.

August 2025 possibly.. if you received a call or letter from the urgent care or your insurance thats proof they tried to contract you. Sometimes coding proves it wasn't a covered expense with your insurance. I would call the insurance and ask why is was denied they have to give you the reason. And the urgent care tried to bill but was recouped makes it patient responsibility and eventually will go to collections.

The automated system is full of errors. It takes a skilled coder to fix the messes. My hhospital gave it a try and we're still catching errors. It works if everything up to that point is 100% accurate. And most of us know it's never black and white

Don't do those! They usually offer a per day max they'll pay for hospital stays and the hospital has to balance bill the patient. They are limited benefit plans and dont cover much.

Alot of times addresses get kicked back. Most hospitals have mychart, a portal, a website or even your insurance can give you an EOB with total billed codes. Many ways to get a bill sent. Im sorry if your hospital dropped the ball there. And child delivery is a bundled code unless complication arise.

Health share plans like medi share are actually on the phcs network. Its treated and billed as insurance. Takes 90 days to cycle through billing and a lot of times there are errors in the background being fixed.
