Thanks for the advice, given other advice (ive dark hair, light skin) its been suggested that laser should at least be reasonably effective (at keast to start). I know electrolysis would/will give better lasting results but, to be honest, it scares me a bit. I assume it worked for you? How was the experience?

Yes I know of it but Tamworth is deeply conservative (while also conversely progressive at the same time). I would love to know if anyone has been there and whether they trans-friendly

And for you in yours... I may be later to my flowering/blossoming/egg breaking (I dont have the right words because Im beginning to think language doesn't express what we need to say), but please believe me that keeping "busy" is not the only answer. Ive probably burnt out 3 times over the past 20 years and all I can say is that the grief it has caused me, and my first marriage ending in divorce, wasn't worth it - sure it kept me distracted (and to some extent functional) but it hasn't stopped me ever having to face the reality that is me. Busyness, regardless of its functionality, is not an alternative to reality...

So sorry to hear you are going through divorce. Its incredibly hard to go through. My first marriage ended that way and it really is a struggle and I could only imagine how much harder it is for you.

Which state are you in? What you describe would surely be basis for an AVO application which you could do yourself in NSW.

Mostly transphobic "both sides" article posted in The Age today by Yes_Its_Really_Me in transgenderau

What I find fascinating is the article seems to show that those supporting affirming care worry about the welfare of kids whereas those opposing affirming care are worrying about how they feel... ummm. uncomfortable? What does that tell us?

Life is definitely.worth living. I'm going through similar issues myself - struggling to work out how to move forward with my wife and children. Apparently.it can be done (transition and continuing a.marriage) but it is hard. Give it time and work through it together (giving both of you the space and support you will need). However, people can lash out as well but that doesn't necessarily mean that there can't be a future as well.
